all my mind has done
is spend it's time revolving around you.
my heart's garden thrives
every time you flash me a smile,
and if you disappeared,
it wouldn't survive.
you shine so bright
through all this darkness,
bringing day
when i otherwise would be stuck in night.
you see,
you're like a star.
i'm your planet.
but when you look at the whole picture,
you'll notice the
the hundreds of thousands of miles
between us.
i'm too far away;
all this empty space
separates us,
and i can't seem to fill it.
