Bestie is back

I was walking to class alone since Will went ahead and I couldn't stop thinking of the kiss.
(Will was my first kiss. I can't believe Will was my first kiss.)
I bumped into someone and dropped all my things.
"I am so sorry. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."
"Look it's fine mistakes happen."
(That voice. It can only belong to one person only!)
I looked up to see the smile of a girl I knew holding my books.
"I think you dropped these."
"Sandy. What are you doing here?"
"Well I do go to school here." She said as she gave me my things and we went walking to class.
"Why weren't you here."
"I fell sick. You know what happens."
"What class you in?"
"The same as you."
"How? You weren't there for the first two."
"I was in the wrong class but they told me to stay for it."
"How?"
"I followed Michael. When I should have looked for you."
"Your brother is an ass."
"What did he do now?"
"He tried to kiss me."
"Aren't you two together?"
"Nope."
"Why? I thought you guys had a deal."
"He broke my heart and I fell for someone else."
"Thank goodness. I'm sorry but I never wanted you two together."
"But you...."
"I know what I said. But that was till he broke his promise."
"What?"
"When the three years came up we all asked him if we should head back and he said no. There was this girl who reminded all of us of you. He decided to stay till his heart was broken when she started dating a dude. So that's why we are back now and not then. I didn't want you two to get together since he broke it."
(He fell for another woman. I'm so glad I am not dating him.)
"It's fine. Like I said I fell for someone else."
"What's he like?"
"You will meet him. He is in our class."
"Yay. I like meeting people."
We walked the rest of the way to class like nothing had changed between us. Except the part where she was still apart of the popular group and I wasn't.
