Jeon had his focus on the marks. He wrinkled his forehead and tried to examine .

"It's blood. The creatures must have dragged bodies into their hidings. It follows till the bushes from where we came." I told him what I suspected.

He looked upto me. Before he could say anything, I cut him. "Medical box. We gotta hurry."
He nodded and then looked around. He was searching for a support that could help us up. I searched too.

"Here. This would help." A voice said from the behind.
It was one of the three boys on whom I paid no special attention before. He was carrying a thick log in his hand. He then let it fell with a thud on the ground.
Jeon lifted it up and adjusted it to make us way up.

I thanked him, seeing his initiative.

"Preston."

"Thankyou, Preston."

"Jazlyn." It was Jeon. "Come. Gmme ya hand." He was already up.

I smiled to Preston and stepped on the log. Jeon grabbed my hand and boarded me.

The first thing that came in sight was a dead body. It was lying right in the middle by the broken seat. I realised that it was business class.

"Ugh.. Holy crap!" Preston was now on the board too. I looked upto him. He was setting his hairs that got messed up by the spiderweb.

"It seems this plane crashed a long time ago." I made a remark.

"Where are we going?" Preston asked as he saw us taking a turn to the pilot's cabin.

"Search for the medical box." I ordered.
He was up here for no reason. So I told him to help us search for it.

Jeon made way to the pilot's cabin. I opened the door and just as I was about to take another step, I found something that made me shiver.

There were two beasts in the cabin. Their backs were on us so they didn't notice us entering. They were devouring something haphazardly. I noticed a man that was their food. A chill ran down my spine. They were eating the pilot who was lying on the ground, motionless.
My sight went to the window. It was broken. It didn't seem that it was because of the crash.
The creatures surely entered in from there.

Jeon grabbed my hand from the behind.
"Retreat quitely." He came closer to my ear and whispered.

I took a silent slow step backwards. Then placed another behind. One of the creatures straightened as I stepped. It dropped the flesh that was in his hand and stood up high on his two legs. I released a sweat.
The creature grred and then made two steps ahead and then leap out of the broken window.
I sighed hard because it hadn't noticed me. He had had his back on me. But it wasn't reliefing either. The second creature was still digging in the poor pilot who was distorted completely.

A giant pull and I was outside the cabin. Preston quietly closed the door.
"What were you thinking? One giant leap and.." Jeon whispered and then sighed. He looked to me and then hugged me. I thought he feared that he'd lose me. Maybe because he saw their level of savagery.

"We gotta get outta here." Preston was uncomfortable. So he tried to change the topic.

I later released that one of them went outside the plane through the window. The beast was not far from others outside.

"One of the beast went out right now. I am afraid because the others outside are unaware." I loosened away from Jeon.

"Follow me to the Economy class." Saying, Jeon made his way. We followed him.

Just then he opened the door that led straight to the economy class, I saw it. Not again!

There have a lot of misconceptions and doubts about the narration part.
I wanted to correct and clear you by saying that the story is been narrated by Jazlyn. So there's not gonna be a POV section. The story describes only what Jazlyn (the narrator) saw, experienced and felt. Also the story is in the past. As I mentioned earlier, she is narrating what had happened with her.

Another important thing is bout the italics. So the italics are her (Jazlyn) feelings when she was in the situation. So obviously the italics will be in present tense.

If any other queries, please feel free to ask. If you encounter any mistake made by me whether it be grammar or logic, please do let me know.
