I lost count kung ilang beses akong napagalitan nung director during the shoot. My mind was somewhere else... on someone else. Even though I tried to tell myself na ayusin, I always ended up thinking about him.

And getting depressed.

Ganoon ba talaga niya kaayaw sa akin para magpalipat siya just to avoid me? That just... made me feel so undesirable. And unwanted.

"Thirty minutes break, everyone!" the assistant director said nang magwalkout iyong director. Mabilis na lumapit siya sa akin. "Girl, ayusin mo naman trabaho mo! Ikaw din papangit image mo na mahirap ka maka-trabaho," mahinang sabi niya sa akin bago umalis.

I sighed and thank him for the concern. Tama naman siya. This was my work... I should not mess this up just because my personal feelings were messed up. This was my dream kahit nung wala pang Jasper na dumadating sa buhay ko... bakit ko hinahayaan na maapektuhan 'to?

Pumunta muna ako sa dressing room para magpahinga. I asked Nico to let me stay inside alone. Mukha yata talagang distracted ako dahil tahimik lang siyang pumayag... and Jasper's nowhere in sight. He's usually the one who's near me tapos iyong tatlo ang nagbabantay sa area.

Ganoon yata talaga siyang ka-bothered na mapalapit sa akin.

Napa-tingin tuloy ako sa salamin. 'Umayos ka nga, Maggie,' I reminded myself. I stared myself for a few minutes, reminding myself that I worked so hard to get whatever I have right now... na patunayan iyong sarili ko kasi feeling ng ibang tao binibigay lang lahat sa akin. I didn't need them believing their lies. Na makita nila na wala talaga akong kwenta kasi sobrang distracted ko.

I really needed to fix this. Hindi pwede na depende sa mood ni Jasper ang trabaho ko. God, why would I even let him be the center of my world?

I started fixing my makeup when my phone vibrated. It was Saint. Why was he calling?

"What?" I said as I answered the phone and put it on loudspeaker para makapagretouch pa rin ako ng makeup.

"Mama just called. She told me that we need to go to Madrid tonight."

"What? As in tonight? Why?"

"Beats me. But maybe family gathering... be home at 5. We'll be using Abuelo's plane," he said and then cut the call. Grabe. Pagdating sa mga family affair, wala talaga akong choice kasi required lahat... Ayoko naman na magalit sila Abuelo sa akin because they're scary.

After that, bumalik na ako sa shooting and gave it my all. I did everything the director asked and more. I just needed this to work... and thankfully, my effort paid off. The director and the whole team seemed happy with my work kaya mas maaga kaming napaalis.

"Thank you," I said to Nico nang abutan niya ako ng robe dahil naka-bikini top and denim cutoffs pa rin ako. Ang cute lang din kasi buong shoot sa mukha ko lang naka-tingin si Nico and Kellan—parang takot talaga sila na mapag-initan ng Sir nila...And speaking of, Jasper and Evan were nowhere in sight... which was probably a good thing since alam ko na malaki iyong chance na ma-out of focus na naman ako kapag nandyan siya.

He can disrupt my whole equilibrium with his mere presence. Nakakainis.

"Pwede ba na ikaw na lang or si Kellan ang kasama ko sa car pag-uwi natin?" I asked habang hinahatid nila ako pabalik sa dressing room. "And please, 'wag niyo akong tuksuhin ng LQ kasi hindi talaga."

Nagka-tinginan sila.

"Kaming dalawa po dapat," Kellan said.

"Bakit? Package-deal ba kayo? Kambal ba kayo?" I asked. Sobrang close kasi nilang dalawa kaya nagtataka lang ako if best friends ba sila or what.
