so yeah, another explanation in case some of you guys didn't quite got the plot.
jeon jeongguk, kim namjoon, kim seokjin, park jimin, min yoongi, jung hoseok, and seoyeon doesn't exist (at least in this book lmao).
basically, the whole story is just taehyung's imagination. he's in a mental hospital cause he can't differentiate the reality and fantasy anymore.
he have oneirataxia—inability to distinguish between fantasy and reality.
since he felt that the reality is hurting him too much, he developed his own world where he can get anything he wanted.
the part where he met jeongguk and the rest of the squad until the part where jeongguk died is taehyung's imagination.
he was dragged out of his fantasy when the glass that he is holding in reality fell down on the floor, creating a loud shattering sound.
the part where he woke up and jeongguk is beside him is one of his imagination too.
the only reality is where he talked with dr. lee.
