"The patient had a heart attack. Mabuti nalang at nadala mo kaagad siya dito sa ospital, there's a chance that he might lose his life if not treated earlier. Although, nasa coma ang pasyente."
Mingyu restlessly bowed his head while the doctor explained about Wonwoo's condition.
"The cause of Wonwoo's heart attack is stress. He suffered from stress cardiomyopathy or also known as the broken heart syndrome or heartstring curse. Some of his heart strings, or the little tendons inside his heart broke because of some emotional trauma. May alam ka bang dahilan kung bakit siya nagkaganito? Some example of an emotional trauma is a death of a loved one."
Mingyu gulped and played with his fingers to release his anxiousness. He slowly nodded, "O-Opo. Namatay po ang papa niya last week."
Nakita niyang may sinulat sa papel ang doktor. Hindi niya alam kung bakit bigla siyang kinilabutan sa doktor noong bigla itong ngumisi pero kaagad rin naman itong nawala, "Aside from that? Have you caused him stress these past few days? Nagpakilala kang kasintahan niya, diba?"
Huminga ng sobrang lalim si Mingyu, "A-Ano pong ibig niyong sabihin?" Alam naman na niya na kasali siya sa emotional trauma na nangyari kay Wonwoo. Hindi niya lang kayang aminin.
The doctor sighed, "Be careful. Your heart strings are connected, in a few hours, you might experience the pain Wonwoo felt that you have inflicted to him these past few months." Tinapik ng doktor ang balikat niya bago umalis sa kwarto ni Wonwoo.

Linabas niya ang cellphone niya sa bulsa niya. He searched for stress cardiomyopathy and heart break syndrome, pero parehas lang ang lumabas na result. When he searched for heartstring curse, that's when he started to get nervous.

A heart string is formed between two people when a deep and pure affection has been built between them. Only chosen couples get to have their heart string connected.
Once connected, disconnection is impossible. You are unable to love anybody but your partner. You are bound to be together in your lifetime.
HEARTSTRING CURSE
This curse is inflicted when a lover caused his partner an emotional trauma. The pain he/she inflicted to him/her will be inflicted two times heavier.
The partner who experienced trauma might be emotionally unstable if it doesn't receive enough love.
