IT WAS ONE OF ROSE'S DAYS off and she spent it by washing the dishes while listening to the news. She looked over her counter to see a picture of Oliver and her. Thea and Rose always believed Oliver's still out there, alive and that one day he will come home. She turned her focus back on washing the dishes until she heard the news reporter say, "Oliver Queen is alive."
Rose dropped one of her coffee mugs, in shocked, as tears started to form in her brown eyes. She couldn't believe it. It took her a second to come out of her daze, only to rush out of her apartment to make her way to the Queen's household.
When she got there, she parked her car and immediately rushed inside. Thea stood there with a smile on her face. "Where is he?!" Rose exclaimed, while catching her breath.
Thea took her hand and started leading Rose to her room. "He'll will be here soon, we can wait for him in my room." She told her.

"He's here!" Thea yelled in happiness, rushing out of her room to greet her brother.
Rose stood there for a moment, sinking in the situation, her Ollie was back home. Rose followed her out and she overheard Thea tell Oliver that she was here.
Oliver gave her a wide smile, when Rose came in sight. He looked at her in awe for a moment He imagined this moment when he was on that island, and it was finally real. She hurriedly ran down the stairs, right into his arms. "I knew you were alive."
Oliver responded by giving her a kiss on her head and he hugged her tightly, as if he was afraid to let her go.

Rose walked out the living room to see Oliver and Tommy hugging. She smiled, she finally had her two best friends back. Rose wasn't planning on losing ons of them anytime.
Tommy saw her standing there and rushed over to hug her. "Rose, it's nice to see you here." They let go of each other and made their way to the dinner table.
Tommy started telling Oliver, the things he missed when he was away. "Ok. So what else did you miss? Super Bowl Winners- Giants, Steelers, Saints, Packers, Giants again. A black president, that's new. Oh and did Rose forget to tell you she's a lawyer."
"Wait what?" Oliver asked, as he turned his attention to Tommy and glanced at her. Oliver gave her a look, "Isn't it dangerous?"
"She can handle herself, she's one of the best" Tommy told him, coming to her defense.
Thankfully, Thea interrupted their conversation until she asked a question related to the place Oliver was stuck in. "What was it like there?" She asked. The table got quiet.
