"I never meant for you to feel that way, and I certainly don't want Noah feeling that way when he's older."

"Some days I feel like you only wanted to stick around because you got me pregnant, and just as I'm about to throw in the towel days like today happen. Days where you make me feel like I'm the most important woman in the work, days when I actually feel like you really do love me" she explained "Your mom raised you to always do the right thing, but if your heart's not in this you won't be happy. I can never be Zara if that's what you expect. I'm not a perfect mom, super smart or great at everything like she is. Most days I'm a complete mess"

"That may be true, but I love you anyways and despite your beliefs, Zara's not perfect either." He told her "Kens I go over there every day because I love spending time with my daughters who won't leave her side. I go because ever since she woke from her coma she's been having more bad days than good." He explained "I wanted to be there for my friend"

"I get it, but sometimes it feels like I'm the only one truly invested in this relationship. I don't feel like I make you happy, and like I said before you don't have to stay because of Noah"

"Sunshine you do make me happy, happier than I've been in a long time. I'm not here because of Noah alone. I'm with you because I love you, and I wish you would have told me how you felt sooner, because I would have done this sooner" He reached into his pants pocket, and pulled out a beautiful diamond engagement ring "I spend a lot of time at her place because my mother's staying there and she's been giving me advice on how to ask you. We haven't been together very long, and your last engagement ended bad so I didn't know how you'd feel about this. Kens I love you, and I'm at my happiest when I'm with you. You're who I want to spend the rest of my life with. Sunshine will you marry me?" He questioned, wiping away her tears

"Are you sure this is what you want? I'm what you want?"

"I've never been surer of anything in my entire life. What's it gonna be babe? Do you want to marry me?" He asked once more

"Yeah, yes I'll marry you" she answered with a tearful smile as she slipped the ring onto her finger. This wasn't at all how she'd expected their conversation to go, but she couldn't have been any happier

"I love you, I love you so much" he spoke, wrapping his fiancée in his arms. "You have no idea how happy you just made me" he beamed, capturing her lips with his "I haven't been the best at balancing my time, but I promise things will be different. I never want you to feel like a second choice; I never want you feeling like Noah's the only thing keeping me here. I'm here because I love you, and I promise to always make time for us, to always make you feel loved" he sealed his promise with a kiss

"Sounds like Noah wants a little more of daddy's attention" Kensi commented, hearing their son's babbling over the baby monitor

"I think that guy just wants to sleep snuggled up with his mommy," said deeks before getting up to get their son and placing his beside his mom

"Look at that, he is most definitely a little mama's boy, but I can't blame the guy. He has a pretty amazing mom"

"His daddy's not so bad either" said Kensi. Deeks climbed into bed beside his fiancée and son, content with spending the day with those two
