You were here, but then you left,
To me, it felt like theft.
For you stole pieces of me
That I never again will see.
You gave me hope, it disappears,
When my eyes are filled with tears.
You had my smile, it fades away,
For I smile less every day.
Your soft kisses and warm touch,
Makes me miss you very much.
You made me feel special, wanted,
Now all my thoughts are haunted.
Don't worry, I act as I am fine,
Even though my eyes don't shine.
For there's lots I hide,
There's emptiness inside.
It stays hidden, locked away,
Maybe I'll open it on day.
If I find someone who listens,
Not with ears, but with heart,
Who will stay, not depart.
Who will see what's behind those fake smiles,
Who will go through of words piles,
to uncover all the lies.
Who will be there, when heart dies.
