I'm waiting with patience,
Remebering your presence,
You could be a nuisance,
But I liked you in an instance.
Now I'm watching from a distance,
Trying not to think about your absence,
I turn in streets when I see resemblece,
Those little things make me lose my balance,
Though it's always just a coincidence.
You're not here, but I could use some guidance.
Cause in you, in your essence,
There was no false pretense,
Just radianting brilliance.
You tought me about the importance
Of things like tolerance,
Striving for excelence,
And the beauty of divergence.
So I'll try to go on, build endurance,
And only be a good influence.
