Farkle's POV

I've been on my laptop all day scrolling through pictures of me, Riley, Lucas, and Maya. I didn't realize how much pictures I had, it's 4:50 and I leave tommorow at 4:30 in the morning. I                        decided to invite Lucas, Maya, and Riley to my place for the last time.

F- Hey guys

M- Hey 

L- what up

R- hey farkle

F- im inviting you guys to my place for the last time

L- of course i'll come man

M- i'll be there

R- anytime farkle

F- great, i'll see you guys 5:30

R- okay see you Farkle

I decided to dress up for our last hang out, I planned everything I wanted to do, I planned on staying up all night. I planned on telling Riley how I feel about her. I remeber graduation, it was a day of tears and a fresh start. I wanna a fresh start by telling her. I wanna tell her that she's the first thing i think about when i wake up and the last thing i think about when im about to go to sleep. I wanna tell her that i wnat her to be mine.  But, i know she still loves Lucas, and she always will, she'll only love me as a friend. That's all...

Riley's POV

I wanted to look my best tonight since it'll be Farkle's last night in New York. I wore a yellow top with a dark blue denim skirt, I wore brown ankle boots. It was 5:00 so I decided to leave my dorm. I drove to Farkle's huge house and walked to his room, as usual nobody was there. His dad was away on business, no wonder why he invited us, he's alone, and his dad isn't going to see him leave tomorrow. I felt bad for Farkle, I know that his dad cut down his business hours, but tonight, he had to leave. I knocked on Farkle's door, I heard his voice say "Who is it?" I answered "It's me, Riley." I hear him running to the door, I smile as he opens the door and before I say hi, he hugs me and starts to cry, I haven't seen him cry for a long time.

"Hey," I say putting my hand on his shoulder "What's wrong?"

"My dad, he just lost more than half of the money for the Minkus Family Foundation. So, he won't make it home until next month, he's stuck in Mexico for a month." I hug Farkle and forgot that his dad and the foundation went to Mexico to build tiny houses for the homeless there. I wipe Farkle's face with my sweater and tell him "I'm always here for you, never forget that." Maya and Lucas come and ask what's wrong. We explain everything to them and we all go into a group hug. Maya grabs the guitar in the corner of Farkle's bed and plays a song. (Full song up top)

Maya stopped singing and started to cry. I went over to her to hug her, Lucas and Farkle hugged us too. We all sat next to each other and sat in silence, Maya leaned on my shoulder, we all held hands. I started to sing.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Farkle asked.

"It means that we'll always be best friends" I said.

"Yeah wherever we are, no matter how far we are the force of love keeps us together and nothing can break it apart." Lucas said

"And if you ever feel alone, you have us to call." Maya said

"You know what I love about our friendship?" Farkle asked.

"What is it Farkle?" I asked.

"No matter how bad life gets, we have each other, and we don't have to be afraid of what others think about us because we have each other to tell the truth of how amazing we are." He answered.

"I love that too." Maya said.

"I love how we make sure that nobody gets hurt." Lucas said. Everyone looked at me for an answer.

"I love how we can be ourselves around each other.  I love how we are perfect for each other. " I smiled at my friends but couldn't help but noticed that Farkle was staring at me. I stood up and grabbed Farkle's hand and took him to the hall. I finally decided to ask him something I've been wanting to ask him.

"Farkle,  who's the girl?" I asked

"What?" He said

"Who's the girl?"

"I can't tell you." He answered.

"Well if that's your answer." I walked back into his room and went to Maya and pulled her to his bed.

"Farkle said he likes a girl, who's the girl." I asked.

"Riles I can't do that." Maya says.

"Wait, Farkle likes somebody?" Lucas asked. Farkle walked into the room. "I can't tell you." He says.

"Farkle, I don't want you to leave with a secret kept from me!" I told him grabbing his hand putting him on his bed. "Neither do I!" Said Lucas agreeing with me. I started to talk softly, "Farkle, whoever the girl is, I'm sure she feels the same way because you are an amazing guy." I said.

"Then, if you say that then." Farkle looks at Maya who looks nervous. "You're the girl Riley Matthews, it's you I like, ever since 1st grade, it's always been you." He says closing his eyes nervous. Lucas walks over to him and puts his hand on Farkle's shoulder, Farkle flinched thinking that Lucas would hit him, but Lucas said "I'm proud of you buddy, you finally told her." Maya busted saying "Wait you knew?" Lucas answered her "Im his best friend, ever since I came to your school I knew, I decided to be with Riley to trigger Farkle to come out of his shell." I was confused "wait so you never really liked me?" Lucas sat down next to me "Of course I liked you, ever since you fell on my lap in the subway. And I always will."

Maya asked me "What are you gonna do Riles?" I looked at Lucas and Farkle, I kissed both if them on the cheek and hugged Maya, then I left the room.

I couldn't sleep all night. I thought about what Farkle said then what Lucas said. Farkle likes me? Me? I know he said he's been in love with me since 1st grade but I thought he was meaning friend like! So that's all that's been in my head...Farkle Minkus likes me. But do I feel the same??
