"Come on!" You tightened your grip around Damon's arm. "It's not THAT bad." You pouted a little and you smiled when a bright colored butterfly sat on your shoulder for a brief second.
"Yes, it's THAT bad! I can't believe you made me do this!" He raised his voice and he stood still. "I'm a vampire. Visiting animal zoo's and ooh-ing and aah-ing is not in my nature."
"I know, I know." You leaned on the tips of your toes and kissed his cheek. "Therefore I'm even more thankful you came with me."
"You can thank me tonight."
"I will."
