"Let's go champ!" Chris yelled clapping, encouraging our 7 year old son

Luke looked over at Chris with the biggest smile on his face before he turned back to the game. Chris had the next couple of weeks off and instead of resting today since he just got home around one this morning, he wanted to be out supporting our kids. He tried not to miss much with their activities and such.

"Alright, you got this!" Chris called out as Luke got ready for the next pitch. He was in the little league t-ball and he looked absolutely adorable in his uniform. He was a spitting image of his daddy. He had the dirty blonde hair that was slowly getting darker as he got older, the 'Evans' smile and Chris's blue eyes.

"You know he is excited to have you here." I said nudging Chris's arm with mine

He looked at me and smiled, "I'm excited to be here. It's been a while since I've been able to make a game."

"He understands why you miss his games and he's okay with it. That's why he has me video it and send it to you." I smiled, "Elijah is excited to have you at his first game and the twins are super excited to have you at their practice."

Chris chuckled, "It's definitely going to be a long day." He put his arm over my shoulders and pulled me into his side

"Which means I am not making dinner." I said and he laughed

"We'll stop on the way home and eat." He said still chuckling

After Luke's game, we waited for him to finish up with his team. As soon as he was done, he ran over with the biggest grin on his face, a small medal around his neck and a certificate in his hand.

"Look daddy!" He exclaimed showing Chris

"Wow!" Chris smiled, "That's awesome buddy! I'm so proud of you!"

I read the certificate and it said: All-Star Award presented to Luke-Henry Evans

"I'm gonna get the girls and I'll meet you two over at the field." I said

"Okay, meet you there." Chris said pecking my lips

I walked over to the playground were the younger kids were playing. The playground was fenced in and was basically like an outdoor daycare during games. Once I got the girls, we made our way to Chris, Luke and Elijah.

"Are you ready for your game?" I asked Elijah smiling

He nodded excitedly, "I'm ready for it!" He exclaimed, "Especially since daddy is here!"

"I can't wait to see you out there little man!" Chris smiled and helped him with his helmet, "Have fun." He said fist bumping Elijah then standing back up.

Elijah took off to his team and we took our seats. Elijah was in touch football and he crazy excited about it. So much so, it had me worried. We cheered for him and Chris was that one father who cheered and encouraged his kid more than the others. He even left his seat and went to stand by the gate with Luke right beside him. Luke and Elijah were close, they always played together. They were also close in age. Luke was a year older than Eli and he made it known at times.

"Go bubby!" Josie yelled cheering for her brother. The only way she knew which one was him, was by his jersey number. 24.

Elodie screamed Eli's name making me laugh and soon she had joined her dad and older brother at the fence.

"Can we go down there too?" Josie asked looking up at me

I smiled and lightly laughed, "Yes we can baby." I picked her up and walked down to stand beside Luke

"Decided to finally join us?" Chris asked from beside Elodie who was on the other side of Luke

I laughed, "Figured we might as well join in the Evans fun." I sat Josie down in between Luke and I and she held onto the fence and cheered for her brother with the rest of us

If you couldn't tell, we were a big sports family. Chris and I decided early on in my pregnancy with Luke that if our kids went into sports we'd be the supportive parents who always cheered them on. Right now, the kids love it but I know it'll change once they're older.

The game came to an end and Elijah came running to us.

"Did you see me?" He asked excitedly

"We did!" Chris grinned "You were amazing!"

"My little Elijah Keith is growing up on his mommy." I smiled and kissed his cheek making him laugh

"Is it time for the girl's event?" Luke and Eli asked at the same time

"Yes it is." Chris said making the girls squeal in excitement

We walked to the car and once we were all buckled in, Chris drove us to the local YMCA. I signed the girls in while Chris and the boys found themselves a seat. I took the girls over to their coach and helped them take off their shirts, shorts and shoes leaving them in their gymnastics outfit.

"They have improved so much since I last saw them." Chris whispered as I sat beside him

"They've been practicing extra hard for you." I smiled softly

They called Josie up first using her first and middle name. Josie Mae. We watched her and Chris recorded it. Then it was Elodie. Elodie Claire. Josie and Elodie were four and loved gymnastics, they even wanted to do cheer-leading when they started school. Once their gymnastics was over, we gathered the kids and packed up the car yet again.

"You guys were amazing today!" Chris beamed at the kids in the rear view mirror "I am so proud of you guys for going out there and just having fun."

"Are you guys hungry?" I asked looking back at them

"Yes!" They exclaimed causing Chris and I to laugh

"Where do you guys want to go?" He asked

"Chinese!" They all yelled

Chris just laughed, "It's good to be home." He smiled holding my hand
