"Ooo child, things are gonna get easier." Chris quietly sung as he typed away on his phone, "Oooo child, things are gonna get brighter."
I raised my eyebrow, "Chris, honey are you gonna keep singing that song?"
He looked up, "Sorry babe." He locked his phone and set it on his lap, "Jack and Cooper wanted to watch Guardians of The Galaxy earlier and now the song is stuck in my head."
I softly laughed, "It's okay, you don't have to apologize." I scooted to the edge of the couch, "We should get going before Lee or Selene call."
"Lee already texted me." Chris said as he got up and pocketed his phone, "I told them we'd be a little late." He came to stand in front of me.
"What did he say?" I asked taking his outstretched hands
He chuckled, "They're running behind themselves." Chris pulled me up and then placed a hand on my very noticeable baby bump.
"At least they know how we feel." I smiled and he nodded in agreement
:time jump:
"Lucy, I'm home!" I called out as I walked into the Pace household
"Auntie Vi!" little Raynlee yelled running to me with a big smile and only her princess panties on, "Uncle Chris!" She jumped into his arms since he was the one out of the two of us to be able to bend down
"Raynlee Noelle Pace!" Selene called out exasperated, "Get back here and get your clothes on!"
Chris chuckled and looked at her, "Did you run away from your mom?" Raynlee just nodded with a grin
Lee walked into the foyer looking worn out with his shirt both wet and stained with spit up, but never the less he smiled when he saw us. "Glad you guys could make it. Sorry about the delay, it's been a busy day."
"More than just a busy day." Selene said walking in carrying their seven month old son, Greyer, on her hip and Raynlee's clothes in her free hand.
"You look...." I trailed off looking at her, "Not your greatest?" I said it more like a question than a statement.
"I know I look horrible." She said with a tired smile as Lee took the clothes from her and left the room with Chris and Raynlee. "How's the pregnancy so far?" She asked as we took a seat on the couch
I smiled, "It's gotten better. Morning sickness is gone and oddly enough I feel super energized. It's completely different than my pregnancy with Cooper." I looked at her, "What about you? How's the pregnancy?"
She slouched back into the couch, "It's still early on but it's been horrible the last few days. Last night I got little to no sleep because Greyer has been teething like crazy. To top it off, today Raynlee went outside with the dogs and got all muddy just before you guys got here and Greyer spit up on Lee."
"How did Lee handle the baby news?" I asked
She closed her eyes, "I haven't told him."
"You haven't told him yet!?!" I yelled with wide eyes
"Shhh!" She exclaimed with wide eyes as she quickly sat up and placed her hand over my mouth, "I love you and Vivienne, but please shut the hell up! Lee and Chris are just down the hall!"
I removed her hand from my mouth and looked at her exasperated, "You've had six weeks to tell him and you still haven't! He is going to find out sooner or later!" I whisper yelled
"I'm voting for later." She said
"Voting for later for what?" Chris asked as he and Lee stepped back into the room with Raynlee and Cooper
"To..." Selene trailed off not knowing what to say
I looked at her then at the guys, "We voted to discuss baby names later." I calmly said
"Oh, yeah we haven't came up with hardly any names." Chris said as he plopped down on the couch
Lee took a seat after he placed Greyer in the playpen, "Are you guys having a girl or a boy?"
"Girl!" Chris and I both grinned
Lee smiled, "Congratulations!" He looked at Selene and frowned in worry, "Honey are you feeling okay? You don't look so well."
I looked at Selene to see her slightly pale, "Are you okay?"
She gave a small smile and nodded, "I'm okay just wore out." she said
The guys discussed football and their upcoming film projects while Selene and I discussed the kids, house ideas, crafts and baby stuff before we sat down for dinner.
"So, how much longer do you have?" Lee asked as we sat at the dinner table
"Four more weeks." Chris grinned as he took a bit of his food
I looked at him as I set my napkin on the table, "Actually...." I said causing them to look at me, "It's more like maybe a few hours at the most."
"What?" Chris and Lee asked confused
"Oh my god." Selene whispered before jumping into action
"Oh.... OH!" The guys realized what I meant and jumped out of their seats
Selene and Lee got the kids while Chris lead me to our car. As soon as Chris got me in the car, Selene, the kids and Lee came out of the house, "Go on ahead!" Lee said
"We'll meet you there, Cooper is riding with us." Selene said as she quickly buckled him up in the backseat of their car
Chris didn't need any further confirmation about where Cooper was riding. As soon as they said they'd take Cooper, Chris was in the driver seat and speeding to the hospital.

I smiled down at the beautiful baby girl in my arms, "She is perfect."
"Just like her mama." Chris smiled from beside me
"She is going to have you wrapped around her finger so fast." Selene chuckled
"Believe me man, it happens before you even realize it." Lee said with his arm around Selene's shoulders as they stood at the end of my bed "But it's something you wouldn't ever change."
Chris looked at them, "I am so glad I got practice in with Raynlee." He said seriously causing us to laugh
"Glad my daughter helped prepare you." Selene chuckled
Chris looked at me with the widest smile that reached his eyes, "I love you so much Vivienne Pratt." He kissed me
I kissed back and whispered, "I love you too handsome."
