I wake up to my phone vibrating next to my face and I open my eyes and hiss at the immediate invasion of light.
I adjust my eyes and turn down my brightness before checking my phone.
I realise I've got some messages form Zacky and one from my friend Mikey.
I go to Mikey's first.
Mikey: hey me and Gee are having a party, wanna come over?
Me: um dude it's 11pm. It's late and I can't anyways
He replies instantly, I could imagine him staring at his phone waiting for a reply- actually, he probably was. Seeming as he's still hung up on me, especially after his ex, Pete, broke up with him. Wouldn't let me go.
Mikey: oh, why's that and Gee misses you
Me: just can't. Mom won't let me out anymore.
Mikey: shame, Gee says hi
Me: say hey for me, night Mikes
I sigh and go to mine and Zacky's messages.
Zacky: Frank?
Zacky: it's 7pm you can't be asleep
Zacky: reppppppllllyyyy jm notes.
Zacky: I meant I'm bored then. Whoops. Fucking phone.
Zacky: dude
Zacky: I'm gonna break your window if you don't reply to me
Me: chill I'm here.
Zacky: oh hey nevermind the previous text
Me: mmmmkay what was that about tho?
Zacky: nvm I can't be arsed to tell you
Me: tell me tell me
Zacky: I was joking
Me: hey
Zacky: yeah
Me: can't stop thinking bout earlier
Zacky: neither can I... it was awesome
Me: yeah, it was. I'd go as far as to say magical but I believe in unicorns so I'm allowed to say that
Zacky: that's the same as being gay

Zacky: um yes they are
Me: blocked
Zacky: rude. Im gonna sleep because it's nearly half 11 and I'm tired
Me: same, night Zacky bby
Zacky: night my Frankie babes
I shut my eyes and let my phone fall out of my hand info my bed and drift off again.
----TIME SKIP TO NEXT MORNING BECAUSE WHY TF NOT----
My phone's alarm jolts me alive at 8am sharp and I swipe across my screen shutting it up.
I've been up since six. Thinking.
