Hello my beautiful readers! I just want to clarify a few things before you start reading this story.

1- Yes, I know Alec Lightwood is gay and I have NOTHING against it. But as I repeat, this is FAN-FICTION, which means I can change the story if I want to because that's what this is about. So yeah, the MC which in this case is Brielle not Clary, will be Alec's love interest. Yes, Alec is straight in this story.

2- I intend no harm or offense towards the lgtbq+ community. I have nothing against Alec being gay, I love him exactly the way he is and I wouldn't change my smol bean for anything in this world❤️. Again, this is Fan-fiction so I intend no offense.

3- I love Malec. They are my babies that deserve nothing more than pure happiness and are my #4 OTP of all time. But sadly, Magnus WILL NOT be a love interest for Alec in this story.

4- This story has been in my head for a while, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to publish it. But then, I saw a lot of writers published their own kind of fan-fiction with Alec as a straight character so I thought, why not? :).

5- I'm so sorry in advance for any spelling mistakes I will make at some point.

6- Yes, book 1 is based on season 1 of the show, BUT I will change the storyline, dialogues, add additional scenes, characters, plot lines, and add a bunch of plot twists. Be ready ;).

7- The story will be narrated mainly in Brielle's POV. Ocassionally it will be narrated in other characters' POV, depending if a relevant scene is going to happen when the MC is not present.

8- Again, I intend no harm or offense towards the lgtbq+ community. I fully support them and I love my little smol Alec gaywood bean a lot and Malec as well.
