"What the hell am I supposed to believe, Lizzie?" Ava snapped, her face showing nothing but anger.
"Just fucking trust me! I'm not a cheater, ok? Why can't you just believe me?" Lizzie was trying desperately to hold back tears of anger and frustration. Why was she chosen as the target of this gossip?
"That picture is pretty damn believable, that's why." Ava was referring to the most recent article where it appeared that Lizzie and Boyd were holding hands as they walked through the city.
"It was photoshopped. I can't help it that people are good with technology. I'm not fucking cheating on you, I don't know what else to do so you'll believe me."
