I dreamt of fairytales when I was younger.

large, green dragons with eyes the size of dinner plates and breath a fiery red.

princesses locked in towers hidden from view, with princes helping the maidens to escape.

then other times i thought up imaginary, yet comforting things.

clouds so soft there was nothing else like it, yet you could still sit on them as if they were solid.

beasts in the shadows that when you approached them turned out to be gentle, fluffy, caring creatures.

everything was so innocent.

but now.. I dream and think of different things.

my imagination is a third it once was, and dragons are no longer green.

beasts arent comforting, but instead threatening with power and laugh with hatred.

princesses stay locked, because their princes don't care to go looking.

at this point I'm not looking for just a prince. I'd be happy if anyone stopped and found my tower. Prince, Princess, neither. I just want to escape.
