There was a groan and a shuffling of knees on the floor. Morgause stepped aside and Arthur could finally see Merlin.

"Arthur!" The boy gasped, his eyes widening in horror. "W- what happened? Where are we?"

"Merlin, I--" Arthur began hopelessly, but Morgause walked so she was next to Arthur and in Merlin's full view.
Merlin's face twisted in hatred.

"You," he spat.

Morgause smiled.

"Me," she said cooly. "Now not to break up this delightful little catch-up, but we have work to do."

"What do you want, Morgause?" Merlin asked coldly. Arthur was surprised that his servant knew the witch, but decided to worry about that later. Merlin always seemed to be surprising him.

"We've got some questions I would like the answers to, and you and the Prince here are going to help me."

"Oh, are we now?" Merlin said, frowning.

Morgause drew a short knife with a beautiful engraved hilt and a needle-sharp point.

"Yes," she said with another smile. "You are."
