/August 7, 2085\
In a few weeks I was going to be discharged from the hospital. I couldn't wait to go, but I would miss Nurse Rowan.
I wondered if I had friends. Or even a boyfriend. As I was wondering all this, I heard someone say, "If we both stick to the story, they can't prove anything."
"What story?" I asked.
"How long have you been listening?" asked a woman who I'd never seen before. She must have been another nurse.
"Since you said, "If we both stick to the story, they can't prove anything." " I answered as the figure stepped out of the shadow. It was Nurse Rowan!
"What story? Was I even in a car crash?" I asked. The other nurse sighed and walked off.
"We can't tell her." she hissed to Rowan.
"We have to. I'll lose my job if I don't," Rowan said, walking towards me.
"So. What do you remember about your mother?"
What did Mum have to do with this?
"Nothing. I have amnesia. Though I do remember one thing. I was very small and we were in a car. Mum was driving me back from school. Then it crashed. Wait. I thought I was in a car crash when I was fifteen." I said.
"You were. But there was another long before this one. You were ten years old and your parents almost died. You were in hospital for months and you had a broken back and broken arms. You healed and then you got amnesia from the other car crash."
I noticed that Rowan wasn't looking me in the eye when she said that. Was she lying?
