History DEFINITELY repeats itself

Y/N'S POV-

"Im going back-"

I said with pure anger but as I was going to continue Lucas interrupted me yet again,
"You can't go back, we need to call the police"

I turned to my son and let my anger out,
"I AM NOT LETTING THAT MONSTER HURT MY BABY!"

Lucas walked up to me and engulfed me in a hug, I couldn't help but cry on his shoulder.

I need my baby back.

Me, Lucas and my parents sit in the living room for nearly an hour as we hatch a plan to get my daughter back.

The plan is, I will go in and try to persuade Lauren to let Lilia go and in return she will have me.

Lucas kept saying no to the idea but it's the only way to get Lilia back and hopefully change Lauren.

now we are outside Lauren's house which used to be our house but I guess things change.

I get out of the car and walk to the door.
I go to knock on the door but it slowly opens when I place my hand on it.

It looks like she must have left it open.

I walk in cautiously and head down to Lauren's old dungeons.

Lauren never got rid of those even though she said she would.

As I was running down I stopped when I heard Lilia scream.

My baby.

I walked to the old dungeon room that surprisingly used to be mine.
As I went in i saw Lauren with a big chain in her hand and Lilia up against the wall trying to hide.

I coughed and they both turned and looked at me.
Lilia smiled as she looked at me.

Lauren looked back at Lilia and back at me.
Her anger soon faded into guilt as I got closer to her.

I stood in front of her, our faces inches apart.

"Why?"

I whispered, Lauren looked down but I lifted her face to look at me.
"I'm ... sorry "

Lauren fell to the floor and hugged me legs as she cried.

I mouthed for Lilia to come to me.
She slowly got up and walked to me.

Lilia hugged me tightly as I did the same,
"I missed you mom"

I kissed her head and told her to go outside and into the car.

Lilia did as I said and went.

Leaving me and Lauren alone.

Lauren stood up and cupped my face,
"I-I'm so sorry baby, I don't k-know what happened to m-me"

I shook my head at her.
I can't always forgive her.

"Lauren, what if it happens again... I don't think I could go through that again"

Lauren hugged me tighter as she cried uncontrollably in my stomach,
"I know, I know, I know... a- and I'm s sorry... please"

She whispered the last part as she looked up into my eyes.
I sighed and my hands traveled into her hair.

I got down to her level and cupped her face,

"I forgive you, BUT... you need to go and get professional help if you want to start living with me and the kids again-"

Lauren looked down again but I made her look at me as I continued,

"It may take some time but we can take it slow to make sure you actually get better, and you HAVE to promise me that you won't skip any therapy sessions-"

I looked into her green orbs and put our heads together as I finished my speech,

"Otherwise we can't together and I mean that, but we're going to take it slow... okay?"

Lauren nodded her head as she nozzles her head into the crook of my neck.

We get up and we go up into the front entrance.

"Also, I want you to get rid of that dungeon, even if you change it to a man cave, games room whatever... just don't have that dungeon"

I turn around but turn back around to look at her again,

"Oh and that also means daily check ups, so I'll be checking on you to see how your doing and also come to the therapy sessions as well"

Lauren hugs me as I go to leave,
"I love you"

I felt my heart flutter.

What is wrong with me?

I'm still in love with a killer.

I turn and give her a kiss on the cheek and say an 'I love you back'
Then I leave.

I get into the car and give Lauren one last wave then we leave.

Is it crazy to say, I miss her already.
