Hindi ko mapigilang hindi purihin ang sarili ko habang nakatingin sa salamin dito sa restroom ng building namin. I'm wearing a white Cherokee Workwear that suits me so well. I couldn't help, but smile from ear to ear. This is my first time to wear this kind of attire, and I super like it dahil bagay na bagay sa'kin. Partida, hindi pa ako naka-lab coat nito. Ang yabang ko ba? Naiimagine ko na ang sarili ko bilang isang doctor sa hinaharap, at nakakakilig lang isipin.

"You'll be a great doctor someday, honey." I said to myself while staring at my reflection in the mirror, claiming my future...as we all should.

Today is another day for our medical event this year. A required check up to all students of this institution. It may be required, but it's just free as it's already part of what we are paying for. Oh, does that even sound free? Nevermind. But, ain't that already a privilege that we should take advantage? The Medical team of this school or this university wants to make sure that everybody in here is in a good state of their health, as we all know...admit it or not, sometimes we forgot to take care of our body. We tend to put it in danger or at risk without even knowing. I think we should be sensitive about it. Normalize prioritizing your health as it should really be part of our lifestyle. Besides, it can make one's life way more better. Kapag healthy ka, masaya ka. Ganon dapat.

Annually ginaganap ang ganitong event dito sa paaralan. Dinadaluhan ito ng mga exclusive guests, at kabilang doon ang mga magagaling at kilalang doctors and nurses to work as one in conducting a general check up for all students of Musculariatte and Feminy University. It is being done for a week and today is the last day, and the day we, medicine students, were asked to assist them as there's still a high number from both schools that aren't done yet. Amber and I were assigned in Musculariatte kung saan mas maraming matitigas ang ulo. Buong department namin ay hinati, and was deployed accordingly to support the doctors. I'm excited, though. I'm pretty sure, we're going to enjoy it.

I let out a soft sigh after admiring my own beauty. Nakangiti kong inilabas ang phone ko para lang basahin ang huling message na sinend sa akin ni Lacson. It says, I love you too, a reply to my message. I bit my lip as I read it in my mind again and again just to make myself satify with the butterflies it brings. Natawa ako sa sarili ko. I couldn't believe na kinikilig na naman ulit ako na parang hindi ko ito nabasa kanina. Ang weird lang, but I like it dahil sa kanya lang ako ganito. It's kind of overwhelming in a great way. I can't even explain using words how good it is to have this warm, fuzzy, and comforting feeling. Sobrang sarap lang sa pakiramdam.

I really sound so in love right now, noh? Haha.

Nakangiti kong ibinalik ang tingin sa salamin. Mom is right, happiness looks good on me. Inangat ko ang phone ko. I took a picture of myself, a mirror shot, at saka ito pinagmasdan. Ang ganda ko pa rin. I took a selfie too, and I sent it to my girl, sa manyak ng buhay ko. Haha, cheesy. But, she's a manyak naman talaga. I scanned each photo. I know Mckendall is going to save it, she always do. Fan na fan ko 'yon. Honestly, puro mukha ko lang ang laman ng phone niya at bilang lang ang sa kanya dahil mas gusto niyang mag-ipon ng pictures ko na araw-araw kong pinapasa sa kanya. I love sending my snapshots to her, and it makes me want to do it as a hobby basta sa kanya lang. Hindi pa naman siya nagsasawa. Subukan niya lang talaga.
