Chapter 12 : Bitterness × Sweetness

School bell rings. I still let my head lies on my desk, looking out to the window. I'm not bear to look at Jinyoung's table. Just what he said still stick in my mind, that hurtful words. Now, I have no desire to make him talk again. I think he better to stay silence like how I meet him before.

I heard he stands up from his seat, putting his bag on his desk. I squeeze my body nearer to the desk, trying not to bother about him. Sound of footsteps are heading outside and fading away after a while.

I rise up my head to look around the class. Finally it's empty. The most favourite situation in my life. I stand up from my seat and wander around the class. I take the chalk and write something on the board. I giggle alone, sad feelings lingers around me.

My phone vibrates a few times but I ignore it. I write all that sink in my heart. As I become bored, I take my phone and switch it on. Heol, so many messages from the Wanna One group chat.

I put the phone into my bag, deciding whether to go or not. When I realised, Jinyoung not even inviting me or said anything. I switch off all the fans and walk out from the class.

"If I walk home, I will pass the café too. Maybe I should go for a while.. 15 minutes only?" I monologue in my heart.

I stand in front of the café. 14:30. Still have 9 minutes left. I take a deep breath before entering the café. I feel someone putting something on my head. A party hat?

"Yay!! Our princess makes her way to go here!" Daniel hugs me with his cheeky smiley face.

I just stay froze, don't know whether I should hug him back or not. I can't help but think about Jinyoung.

"Let's eat some cakes, Y/N~" Jaehwan calls me from the table behind Daniel.

I walk towards the cake but then some hands mash the cake on my face. I struggle to stop them but I'm too weak. My face now full of whipping cream and some icings. I try to find who are the person that did the things.

"Pink sausage team!" I shrieked and chase both of them. Luckily, this café is small so I could catch them.

"Sorry monster Y/N! I'll not do it again.." Woojin kneels down, apologizing.

"Woojin-ah.. No need to do this. We're just playing, right? Here, stand up." I lend him a hand but he fell in my trick, I smash some icings on his face.

"Kids! Kids! Stop! Go wash your face." Jisung stops our cake war. The members that act as audience shows unhappy response. Maybe they want me to fight the pink sausage team.

I walk to the washroom but then a hand pulls me, sitting me down on a couch. He wipes the cream on my face using wet towels. I try to open my eyes but I'm afraid the cream will enter my eyes.

"Open your eyes. I already finished."

I open my eyes. I'm shocked to see who's the one helping me. Bae Jinyoung. He quietly wiping my face with other clean towel, tracing my forehead to my chin.

My face starts to heat up. I shouldn't let him see this or then I would died. I hold his hand, try to stop him but we both start to gaze each other.

Ughh.. Other moment that I would like to avoid. Meeting his deep eyes. "Jinyoung-ah.. I can do this by myself.."

"Yahhh! Look at here~ we have two lovebirds, Jinyoung and Y/N." Jaehwan tells everyone using his high note voice.

"Jaehwan oppa... Stop it!" I shout. My face grows redder than before.

A pair of hands cupped my face. I feel more heat up. Bae Jinyoung, stops making me suffering.
