as we pedaled back to Jim's house where Amelia was waiting for us and we were only about 3 blocks away Cal said "So witchy, you think you could forget about what I said last night?" I said "not a chance" he was silent for the whole time we were riding passed the next block until he broke the awkward silence and said "But-" I cut him off and say "HEY, REMEMBER WERE INFECTED WITH EACH OTHER AND THERE'S NOT A CURE, IM NOT GOING ANYWHERE"I could hear him starting to cry behind me and I honestly have no idea why. He said "but I'm a burden" I just laughed and said "Are you deaf dude, your the one who brought me back from a dark place after my parents died, okay I didn't want to say this but I love you "
Cal hit the breaks on his bike and shortly after so did I.He looked at me and said "what?" I said, "I don't believe your deaf dude" he dropped his bike and ran over to me he gave me the biggest hug while sobbing. At this point, we were only about a block away from Jim's house. I hugged him back and said "Stop crying Amelia is waiting for us" he stopped hugging me, looked at me, smiled, and said "Right" while tears running down his face. We got back on our bikes and peddled rest of the way to Jim's house. When we got to the house Cal immediately searched through the whole house while I looked outside. But there was no trace of Amelia or Jim.
We both started to panic and tried to retrace our steps.
1. we know that Jim passed out and was lying in the backyard
2. we hid Amelia in her room
3. we left mrs.kelly here to watch her
4. we pedaled home
"THAT'S IT MRS.KELLY!!!!" we both shouted. We ran over to her house and knocked on the door. she opened the door and said, "Oh, hello there, where have you been ?" Cal said, "yeah yeah hi, Where is Amelia?" Mrs.Kelly said "Oh, well after you didn't come back I got worried and started looking around the yard, Then I found your Father unconscious on the ground so I called the police, they brought the paramedics and took Amelia into custody," Cal said "Crap well thank you, Witchy let's go"
