Chapter 8 - Apologies Pt. 2

Rainbow Dash's POV

I jumped from shock when heard someone yell "GOOD MORNING, DASHIE" right into my ear. I knew who it was.

"Pinkie you startled me" I said emotionless.

"Finally you're awake, darling. You slept in" said Rarity.

"Are ya feelin' alright, sugar cube?" asked the cowgirl.

I turned around and saw my friends standing there. I just want to be alone, I'm not in the mood to talk to anyone at all. Especially not Applejack or Rarity.

"It's 3 PM and they're gonna put up the rock climbing wall soon. We figured you'd wanna come since you wouldn't stop talking about it on our way here," spoke Sunset Shimmer.

"No thanks" I replied plainly.

"Are you sure?" asked Fluttershy.

"Yup"

Applejack gave our five friends a look and they nodded and walked out of our tent. The last thing I want is to talk to Applejack.

"What's goin' on, Dash?" questioned Applejack as she sat in the middle of my bed.

I ignored her and put my blanket over me. Applejack pulled it down and looked at me in the eye. I looked away.

"Don't ignore me. I know somethin' is wrong. You're only like this when you're upset or angry. I care about ya and I need to know what is goin' on"

"Oh please, I bet that's what you tell everyone," I murmured, "just go away"

"Fine. I'll come to check up on ya later" she said with a sigh, as she got up and starting walking towards the opening of the tent.

"You know, it's funny how you give up on me so easily, but if it were Rarity you would still be insisting" I blurted out. I felt the need to say it aloud.

Applejack turned around and said, "because I know you're stubborn and ya won't say anythin' until ya get over whatever is botherin' you. If ya ask Rarity, she'll talk the second time ya ask"

"Wow you seem to know her so well, why don't you go hang out with your best friend instead of wasting your time on a stubborn bitch like me" I snapped.

Applejack gasped at what I just said and asked, "Rainbow Dash, what has gotten into ya?"

I sat up in my bed and yelled, "You've always been so inconsiderate and you treat me like crap but when it comes to Rarity you're so innocent and sweet. Why don't you go kiss her again and while you're at it you can take it to the bed!"

"Woah.. Excuse me?" Applejack yelled back at me, "I'm the one who's inconsiderate? Stop tryin' to make me look like the bad guy. You're so selfish and full of yourself. Ya always blame everythin' on me when I didn't even do anythin' wrong most of the time. I've always been there for ya but ya always go to Fluttershy, which isn't a problem to me and it shouldn't be your problem if I hang out with Rarity or kiss her. She's our FRIEND, Dash. You're just jealous because not everythin' is about ya" she looked at me angrily.

I'm full of myself? Now that made me angrier. I wonder what other mean things she has to say about me.

"Fluttershy is and will always be a better friend than you. You're a poor excuse for a friend" I insulted harshly.

Applejack looked away and at that moment I saw something in Applejack's eyes that I've never seen before. She seemed hurt, really hurt. I didn't mean what I said.

"Applejack, I-"

"You've said enough" she interrupted. I saw tears forming in her eyes and she looked at me one more time before running out of the tent. I messed up big time.
