Chapter 4

I went back to Yasmin, seeing that she got us pizza.

"Hey, what took you so long?" She asked worriedly.

I giggled. She's always so protective.

"Nothing bad. Britney was in the bathroom. She said some things thas all." I said taking a seat across from her.

She rose an eyebrow.

"What did she say?"

"She told me to stay away from Zion, or else I'm gonna 'regret it'." I said putting air quotes around regret it and took a bite of my pizza.

She laughed and so did I.

"What's the worst this Britney can do? Mess up her mani pedi and then tell Zion you did it?"

I kept laugh by until I glanced at Zion. He looked so happy. His face is full of love. It tore me apart.

I held back the tears. Britney is playing Zion, yet he don't realize that.

I took a deep breath.

"Yasmin, les go."

She saw what I was looking at and gave me an understanding nod.

We got our bags and left without Zion noticing us.

Me and Yasmin are in my room just listening to A Boogie songs until I got a text. It's from Zion. I could feel the blood rushing to my cheeks as I open the text.

Zion: Hey Camz wanna hang out today? 😋

Me: what happened to Britney ?

Zion: She left when we were eating now I'm lonely ☹️😢

Me: But Yasmin is with me I can't just ditch her 😕

"Im gonna go, Mila. So that you and Zion can have some alone time." She said with a wink.

"Hollup hollup hollup. How'd you know I was texting Zion?"

"I was reading it while you were smiling and blushing....."

I blushed.

"Okay. I'm gonna go now. Bye Mila! Come back tomorrow!" She told me and hugged me.

I checked my text.

Zion: Ohh :(

Me: Wait nvm Yasmin just left, idk why but you still wanna chill ?

Zion: YES!! I'm boredddd 😩

Zion: I'm coming ina few :))

Me: Bettt

I can't wait until Zion comes. It's been madd long since we hung out alone.

That's until what Britney said came to mind. But I shrugged it off.
