I woke up and Katniss wasn't in the bed, I walked downstairs groggily, I could smell Katniss cooking. I walked into the kitchen and sat down
"What are you cooking?" I asked
"Eggs and toast" she replied not looking up from the task.
"Sounds nice" I said. I picked up the glass of orange juice and drank it in one gulp.
Suddenly without warning my fingers curled around the glass. I knew what was happening, I had to warn Katniss.
"Katniss-"
I threw the glass at her head. It barely missed
"YOU'RE A STUPID MUTT!" I screeched. Katniss ran out of the kitchen and up the stairs. I chased after her. She slammed the bedroom door, i
Was right at the door by this point, I was pushing and pushing at the door, and it was starting to give in. I was stronger than Katniss. "YOU'RE A MUTT, YOU'RE A MUTT" I yelled.
Katniss killed my family.
She tried to kill me.
I must kill her.
I hate her.
But Katniss didn't kill my family.
Katniss isn't a mutt.
I must protect her.
I love her.

I took my hands of the door, Katniss wasn't expecting it and the door slammed shut.
I leaned against the wall, I slowly slid down the wall. I started to cry, I heard the door creak open. Katniss sat down beside me.
"Shhh, Peeta it's okay, it wasn't your fault. I love you, don't cry" she soothed
"I could of hurt you, I could of killed you" I cried.
She put her arm around me, she took her free hand and smoothed the hair back from my eyes.
"Peeta, you didn't hurt me. I'm fine, it's not your fault, shhhh, it's not your fault." She told me.
"I'm. . . So. . . Sorry" I managed to choke out.
"Peeta, Peeta, it's not your fault. I promise." She whispered.
"I love you Peeta" she whispered putting her other arm around me and burying her face into my neck.
"I love you too, forever and always"
"That's better" she says, bringing her lips crushing down on mine. "Forever and Always" she mumbled
