"You okay?" Henry asked
"Yeah, I'm good" I said hugging him "thank you"
Frank walks in
"Grandpa" I said hugging him
"Hey Amy" he said
"Pops beat up a perp that tried to take me" I said pointing to Henry
"Eh, he was messing with the wrong family" Henry said
"Amy!" Nicky yelled and hugged me
"Ouch" I said "I got a hurt shoulder"
"Oops, sorry" Nicky said
"It's fine" I said
"But Jewel was here" I said petting the German Shepherd
"Good girl Jewel" Nicky said
"Hey Amy, dinners almost ready, come help me set the table" Frank said to me while walking past
"Okay grandpa" I said
I helped Frank set the table and I sat down at my usual place that was between Frank and Erin and we ate dinner together
"I've got homework, could I please be excused?" I said politely
"Yeah, go ahead" Frank said
"Thanks, love you all" I said
I went upstairs to do homework but I got bored of it, I went on my laptop to google more about Joe and how he was killed, I didn't realise Danny was standing right there checking on me before he left for the night
"Dad" I said and closed my laptop
"Hey" he said sitting next to me "what are you doing?"
"Oh, just homework" I lied but the homework part was true, I just got bored of doing homework
"Okay, well, I'm going to head out, you okay here?" Danny asked walking out
"Yeah, I'm okay here" I said
Danny walked out and I opened my laptop again and kept looking through Uncle Joe's files about his death and found out some stuff. I still couldn't sleep so I snuck downstairs with Joe's police jacket on and sat on the couch watching TV with Jewel laying down by my side
"Good girl" I said petting her. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and I turned around to see Henry
"Hey sweetheart" he said
"Hi pops" I said
"What are you doing up so late?" He asked me sitting down next to me
"I couldn't sleep" I said
"Your wearing your uncles jacket, must be special to you" he said to me
"It is" I said and put my head on his chest and sat closer to him
"Its okay, he loved you" he said
"I know he did" I said
"Well, you've got your dad, uncle and Aunt and me and Francis to watch you" he said hugging me
"I know pops, I love you guys but you know dad, he's wayy too over protective of me" I said
"I know, he loves you, that's why" he said hugging me
"I know" I said "he won't even let me leave without Jewel"
"That's because Jewel is your protection dog" he said
"I know" I said and looked down
"He just worries, he's a dad, its what happens sometimes" he said
"I know but he's overprotective of me a lot actually" I responded
I went up to bed cause it was late out and I layed in bed and fell asleep and I had the same dream of the night I was taken
**in dream**
"Daddy, where are you" I yelled
"Amy!" He yelled
"Daddy!" I yelled
"Quiet!" The voice yelled
"Daddy!" I yelled seeing him
I ran towards Danny, the perp grabbed me by my collar and put a gun to my head, Danny pointed his gun and shot him and I ran to him
**end of dream**
I woke up breathing heavily and I screamed, I got up and ran downstairs and sat on the couch watching TV with tears in my eyes
"Hey" Frank said
"Grandpa" I said
"I heard you scream, everything alright?" He asked
"Yeah" I lied
"Tell me" he said
"Okay, I had a dream" I said
"What was it about" he asked
"It was about...when dad rescued me from that perp" I said
"Well, its just a dream" he said sitting down next to me
"I know grandpa, but it scares me" I said putting my head on his chest
"Why don't you come to work with me in the morning" he said
"Really?" I asked
"Yes, really" he said "now get to bed"
"Okay, goodnight grandpa" I said hugging him and going upstairs
I got up the next morning, I walked downstairs and got in my grandpa's car that was waiting for us and went to 1PP(One Police Plaza) with him and got out
"Now Amy, you remember how to behave don't you?" He asked me as we were walking in
"Yea grandpa I do" I said
"Good" he said
I sat on the couch looking out the window while Frank did his normal office work to get stuff done. I sighed and looked at him and smiled and he smiled back to me
"What's wrong" he asked
"Nothing" I said "but, what if"
"What if what?" He asked
"What if the guy that tried to take me, comes back" I said "I'm scared"
"I won't let that happen" he said
"Thanks grandpa" I said smiling
"Your welcome, now get homework done" he said
"Okay" I said and did my homework, I got a call from Danny "hello?"
'Where are you?'
"I'm with grandpa"
'At 1PP?'
"Yeah, why"
'Pops was worried'
"I knew he would be, I have to go, bye" I said and hung up
"Who was that?" Grandpa asked
"It was dad" I said
"What did he need?" He asked
"He was just wondering where I was" I said
I got up and walked over to the window and looked out over New York and sighed and looked back
"What's wrong?" He asked me
"Nothing" I said putting on my uncles police jacket
"Something's wrong" he said
"Nothing's wrong grandpa, I'm fine, I really am" I said
I looked back at him and he saw fear in my eyes and he sighed
"I won't let that happen" he said to me
