Damn it! I was just gonna ask Natalie to marry me.

Obviously someone had to get in the way. Someone always has to get in the way of us.

But what if she says no? What will happen to us.

Natalie's POV:

"Well it's gonna be a good day..." I say to Jake.

"It is huh?" He asks.

"Yes!" I say breathing in the morning air.

"We should do something today" Mikey says walking in.

"Yeah" I smile at him.

All of the sudden I hear my new born cry.

I walk into the room and see her screaming.

"Awww shhhhh baby it's ok" I say and pick her up.

"It's alright" I whisper softly. She instantly stops crying.

"Than you smiled over your shoulder. For a minute I was stone cold sober" I sang softly to my little girl.

I heard footsteps and they stop.

I stopped singing and looked back to my boyfriend.

"You and Ademir should do a duet" Jake smiles.

"No thanks" I laugh lightly. I look at my daughter who is sleeping peacefully in my arms.

"Oh my what a beautiful girl" Jake says looking over my shoulder.

"Yeah" I smile putting her down in her crib.

"I'll ask my mom if she can watch Maddie" I say and kiss him.

"Sounds good" he kisses me again.

"Alright" I say and hit his chest.

"I love you" he whispers to me.

"I love you too" I whisper back. I walked out of her room.

"Hey mama" I smile to my mom.

"Hey Nat" she smiles back.

"Have anything going on tonight?" I ask her.

"Yes I do actually. I'm going out with a couple of my friends from work so yes I am busy" she says.

"Oh that's alright we'll just ask Sandra than" I smile.

"Awww I'm sorry Nat. We won't be drinking if you want Maddie to come with me. I'll babysit her for the night so you can have some fun with your friends" my mom adds.

"If that's alright with your friends or we'll just ask Sandra" I say to her.

"No no that's alright" my mom smiled.
