She shot up, at full attention on the front bars of her cell as she saw Trevor, shirtless and fighting the police, yelling for her as they threw him into the cell. Her heart fluttered as she saw him. He got up, brushing himself off as he stood up, looking over the room. She realized she was sitting in the darkest corner, but knew he saw her orb.

"Hannah! Oh thank god! You're not hurt are yo-"

His words died out as he saw the bow and quiver full of arrows over her shoulder. She grinned as she stood up, wrapping her arms around his shoulders as he hugged her back. Trevor was tall for his age, 5' 11'', but only weighed in at around 150 pounds, whereas Hannah was the opposite. She was only 5' 3'' but weighed in at 125 pounds. She didn't care about her weight too much though, because she didn't care what everyone else thought of her. Only Trevor. She had been friends with him for as long as she could remember, always going over to his house with her mom. Ever since she could remember, he treated her almost like an older brother, but ever since a few years ago, she started seeing him a little differently. She hid her feelings as well as she could, feeling like it was almost wrong to love him, but every once in awhile, she would allow her mind to think about him as more. Now, as she stood there on her toes hugging him, she couldn't help but to let her feelings out.

"Trevor... I..."

She stuttered, and he finished her sentence.

"You're glad I'm safe, huh? Don't worry about me Hannah, I'll always come back to you safe and sound."

She felt her red face relax a bit as they pulled out of their hug, and she began to laugh. He has no idea how right and wrong he was! She thought as he grabbed her bow off her shoulder, inspecting it as she explained about her father and his orb. He stared at her, his eyebrows raised in suspicion. She knew he wouldn't believe her, so she pulled out the last small stick, and let him give it to his orb, letting it grow before he handed it back. He looked at her with awe, and she couldn't help but smile back, embarrassed. He saw the look of hesitation in her eyes though, and returned the look, suddenly red. He took a couple visible breaths, and said

"Hannah, you know how we've been friends since we were both really small?"

She nodded.

"Well, I know I probably shouldn't be saying or feeling this, but I can't help but think you are beautiful and you always have been. Hannah, you're my best friend, and I don't want to ruin that, but I love you."

Hannah felt her heart skip a beat. He loved her. She wasn't the only one. She leaned in closer to him, and he followed soon after, each of them stopping when their noses and foreheads were touching. He suddenly pushed his lips against hers, conveying a fiery love that couldn't be denied. She gladly returned the kiss, and enjoyed the few moments she had been wanting for years.
