I stood at the alter waiting for the song that announced that my beautiful bride was coming to marry me. The bridesmaids came first. Megan, Artemis, and Raquel. Then the flower girl, Lian. Then the bridal march came on and Wally clapped me on the back.
Zatanna came down the aisle, looking beautiful as ever. She got to the aisle and I completely blanked out for half of it and got lost in Zatanna's blue irises. Then, "Do you Richard John Grayson, take Zatanna Renée Zatara, to have and to hold, through sickness and in health, till death do you part?" I responded immediately. "I do." I practically shouted. Then he turned to Zatanna. "And do you Zatanna Renée Zatara, take Richard John Grayson, to have and to hold, through sickness and in health, till death do you part?" She smiled softly. "I do." "Then by the power vested in me, I know pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." I dipped her and kissed her. One hand in her hair and one on the small of her back. I felt her smile into the kiss and smirked.
Let's just say the honeymoon was great.
