Surprise?

"Hey Sam." Kaitlyn says to me when I get in the car.

"Hey. Where is Erica?"

"She's staying after school. Mom will pick her up later."

"Oh, okay." I say as Kaitlyn starts driving home.

"Conor told me that you and Brady have been texting." She says while giving me the 'spill the details look'.

"Yeah." I say, not really wanting to talk about. I blush at the time someone just mentions his name.

"He definitely likes you. Conor's not too happy about that." She says while smiling at me.

"No he doesn't. We haven't even seen each other in person."

"Well that will change next week when we go to the live show."

"What?" I say, well basically yell.

"Shoot. I wasn't supposed to tell you."

"When are we leaving?"

"Wednesday morning. Don't tell Conor, it's a surprise."

We get home and I go straight to my room. I'm so anxious for Brady to call me.

I finish my homework, checking my phone every five minutes. 

I go upstairs to the kitchen to get some Hi-Chews, leaving my phone in my room.

"Sam, can you help me with my math homework?" Erica asks me.

"Sure." I say. I've always been really good at math.

I spent awhile doing homework with Erica. Almost two hours past and I didn't even notice.

I walk back down to my room and see my phone lit up.

3 missed FaceTime calls from Brady

I quickly called him back.
