Explain

Samantha

I quietly leave Brady's room and walk back to mine. 

I walk in, trying not to wake anyone up.

"You were supposed to come back last night." Conor says right when I walk in.

"Conor, you'll wake everyone up." I whisper.

He pulls me into the hallway.

"Explain yourself." He says.

"We were watching a movie and I fell asleep." I say.

"Uh huh."

"And nothing else happened." I say looking him in the eye.

"Okay. I won't tell mom. But I wan't to know where you are, especially when you're with boys."

"Yes sir."

Everyone in my family is very protective of me. Why? I'll just have to explain that later.

We walk back into to room and go back to bed.

I wake up to a text fro Brady.

Why did you leave? :(

Conor wanted me to come back to our room.

Awe, okay. Do you want to maybe do something after my rehearsals? I'm free tonight.

Are you asking me on a date, Tutton?

Maybe I am.

Okay yes, I am.

So...

Yes. What time?

Meet me in the lobby around seven?

I'll be there.

"Oh my god. You're going on a date with Brady!" Kaitlyn and Erica shout.

"Guys, be quiet. I don't want Co-"

"Who's going on a date with who?" Conor asks while walking into the room.

Kaitlyn and Erica look at each other and walk away.

Gee, thanks guys.

"Sam, explain please." Conor says.

"I'm going on a date with Brady tonight." I say. 

"No you're not."

"What?"

"I don't want you dating Brady." He says.

"You don't get a say in who I date!"

"You're not going on that date tonight."

"Yes I am." 

"Samantha, I said no."

"Well I said yes." I say sternly and run out of the room.

I'm sharing a room with Conor and Dena. Kaitlyn and Erica are sharing a room and the rest of the boys are in another. 

I rush to Kaitlyn and Erica's room for advice.

Brady

I get on the bus to go to rehearsals.

"Hey Michael. What's up?" I say.

He just looks at me. That's weird. I sit next to him.

"I'm sorry if you were worried about where Samantha was last night. We fell asleep." I say.

"It's okay, but you're not taking her on that date tonight." He says and moves to another seat.
