"Wait, Adrien has a security system installed in his mansion. If something happened to him, wouldn't the cameras catch what happened to him?" Nino asked, as they skidded and rounded the corner.

"Of course. But again, it depends on what kind of person it is." Percy answered. Nico agreed.

"What do you mean what kind of person..?" Marinette frowned.

Percy sweat dropped. If they found out he was a demigod, things will be bad. Monsters can also attack them-indirectly-by causing ruckus.

"Percy's suggesting an akuma." Nico filled her in. "Maybe the akuma Alya mentioned."

Marinette grew even more worried. The akuma her and Chat Noir tried to catch was different from the others. More monstrous looking, and dealt a lot more damage than usual. They kept most of the information to themselves because if they released too much information, civilians might start panicking and mayhem can start. But now that she hears that it might harm Adrien? Her instincts are telling her this is not an akuma. Something big was happening.

The five stopped in front of the mansion. Percy stepped forward and looked at the gate. It was open, which is suspicious.

"Nathalie won't leave the gate open, unless someone just entered recently. But she'll close the gate right after they enter though." Nino said.

"Who's Nathalie?" Percy asked.

"The assistant Adrien's dad has." Alya took over. "We met her a few times before you came. She's pretty strict about stuff."

Nico looked at Percy. They shared a nod. It probably wasn't an akuma. It might be one of those ancient monsters that they have never encountered.

"Seeing how Nathalie left the gate open, I guess we can conduct an investigation of our own." Percy muttered before walking through the gates. The others looked at each other, hesitantly, and followed after him.

Adrien's mansion was a sight to behold. It was more elegant than any type of house, of course, since it was a mansion. But still, Percy couldn't help but stare at it in awe. 'Annabeth would like this.' he thought.

"Um, hello?" Marinette asked. It echoed in the mansion, with no one replying back.

Nico stepped forward. "Ok, planning time. I suggest that we stick together when investigating. Do NOT wander off."

"Why don't we just split up into teams? Wouldn't that be faster?" Nino questioned.

"It'll be faster, yes, but the fact that no one's here and the security isn't working means that whatever or whoever it is in the mansion isn't playing around. Let's explore this floor first." Nico said. The other four had no objections, so they followed his lead.

First, was the kitchen. Everything seemed to be in order, the dishes all stored away nearly along with the silverware.

Next was the dining room. It was also normal. However, Percy questioned why they would need this big of a dining table.

They explored all the other rooms, which looked like nothing has been touched.

"Ok, upstairs then." Nico muttered.

It had the same results like the downstairs rooms. That was until they got to Adrien's room.

"What the..." Percy sidestepped around a mountain of things. Everything was thrown around the room. The couch was upside down, the books and CDs  on the bookshelves were all knocked down, the bed sheets were all on the floor. Basically, everything was a mess.

When Marinette saw the mess, she couldn't help but let fear take ahold of her. What happened to Adrien?

"Percy." Nico tapped on his shoulder.

"What's up?" Percy turned towards him.

"Don't you feel anything?" Nico frowned.

Percy started to shake his head, but then he paused. "Actually, yeah. Something doesn't feel right."

Right when Percy finalized saying that, something crashed through the window. The five all jumped back and got into stances. The thing that jumped through the window was enormous. Gigantic. Ginormous. It roared at them in anger.

"What the heck?!" Nino cried out.

"Is that...? Adrien!" Alya pointed out.

Sure enough, in the hands of whatever creature that was, Adrien was there. He was also unconscious.

Marinette didn't know what to do. She thought about transforming into Ladybug, but she couldn't just leave her friends in this room while she goes outside and transforms.

"Nico, shadow travel us somewhere. The monster should follow us." Percy said.

"Are you crazy?! What about them?! And why not just end it here?!" Nico gestured to the other three, who look terrified of the monster.

"We'll just have to explain to them. Plus, we can't fight it with all these stuff strewn around! C'mon! It's either die or live right now!" Percy said.

"Fine! But you're doing the explaining!" Nico said.

"Guys, grab hands." Percy said to the other three. They looked at him in confusion.

"Um, dude, even though I'm terrified right now, I still have to mention that it's not friendship holding hands time." Nino said.

"What would holding hands even do anyway?" Alya asked. Marinette agreed.

"No time to explain. Just grab each other's hands now!" Percy commanded.

"But...but what about Adrien?" Marinette questioned.

"We'll get home soon enough. Let's just get out of here first." Percy said.

"Why don't we just use the door?" Nino asked. When he said that, the monster threw a white couch to the door, blocking it.

"Rule number one: Never jinx yourself." Percy muttered. "No time! Let's go!"

They all grabbed each other's hands. Nico concentrated.

"What are we doing?! We're all going to get killed this way!" Nino said.

"Just trust us!" Percy said.

Next thing they knew, they all fell in front of the school. Student stopped and look at them in confusion, but slowly shook their heads and went back to doing their own things.

"Oof!" Percy groaned.

They all got up.

"What..what just happened?" Alya shakily asked.

Percy was about to reply back, but then a roar interrupted them. They all looked up only to see the monster.

"W-we have to get help! Like Ladybug or Chat Noir! Or the police!" Alya exclaimed.

Marinette looked down and clenched her hands! She wished she could help, she really did! But if she ran off to transform, her friends will all get killed by the time she comes back!

"Ladybug, Chat Noir, and the police can't handle this." Percy said.

"What the-are you crazy?! Of course they can! I mean, what can we do?!" Nino exclaimed.

"Lots of things." Nico smirked. He flicked his wrist and a bunch or skeletons came out from the cracks that formed.

"Skel-skeletons!" Alya stepped back, along with the other two.

"Please don't ask us to much questions after, okay?" Percy requested.

"Wait, what do you mean by "we"?" Marinette asked, confused like everybody else.

Percy took out a pen from his pocket and took the cap off. Instead of it being a normal pen, it turned into a beautiful bronze sword.

"Wh-who are you?!" Nino said, terrified.

"I'm Percy Jackson." Percy said. "Your average demigod."

With that, Nico and Percy lunged into action.
