Hayley's POV
I turned and walked away. "Hayley!" I heard Bruno called but I ignored him and climbed down stairs. Tears were rapidly streaming down my face. My knees were shaking like jelly. My heart was sinking to my stomach.
"Hayley!" he reached me at his front door with only his boxer on.
I finally turned to see him and then gave him a big slap on the face. "Liar!" I cried. Now my hands were trembling too and I can feel my skin burning in anger. I waited for Bruno to get over the slap and explain.
"I'm sorry. I was drunk," he cried back.
"I don't believe you!" I shouted. I raised my hands up in the air like I was arrested and said, "Okay. You got me. I feel so stupid right now for thinking you're not anymore the asshole you were before! I wasn't wrong about you being a jerk! You're nothing but a douchebag! I wish I never met you!"
"Hayley, I'm not lying!"
"Oh really?!"
"Yes!"
"Not anymore falling for your lies, Bruno. Go back to making babies with Natalie!"
"I swear! I was drunk!" he growled. "Why are you so mad anyway?! We're not even official! You're not even my girlfriend!" his words just punch a big hole to my stomach.
"Ah, yeah" I nodded crying. "Who am I kidding? Right...I'm not even your girlfriend"
"Hayley, I didn't mean to-"
"It's okay. I understand. I'm sorry" I said calmly in a cracked voice. "But when you found out that I was going to marry Dale, you got mad at me. Ha!" I scoffed. "Okay. Fine... Anyway, before I disappear from your life, I just want to say thanks for making me believe that you care. Thanks for making me feel like I'm the only girl you know. Thanks for making me fall. Thanks for pretending to make me happy... I'm out of here" I gave my last words and went towards Harry's car.
"Hayley, wait!" he yelled firmly.
I ignored him again and jumped in the car.
Before I could close my door, Bruno stopped me. "Hayley, don't leave. I'm sorry. I'm not lying. Please!" he almost begged on his knees.
"You know, I don't really care if you were drunk or not. You already did it. You met up with Natalie so... goodbye" I said through my teeth while standing the tears. I pulled the door but Bruno was just too strong for me.
"I don't know what else to say to convince you to stay but here's one truth, I love you, Hayley since forever. I don't know what I'd do without you anymore. I'd die. If you leave now I'd go back to where I first met you and hope that you would come back for me. I don't care if you don't believe me. I know I just have to say this. I love you, Hayley. Don't ever forget me" that just made me cry more.
"Sure, I will never forget you...as the superstar who made me feel like his own superstar" I smirked and then finally shut the door as hard as I can.
Bruno leaned away and I started the engine. He watched me as I rolled away.
I got a tight grip on the stirring wheel. I was almost squeezing it to death. Hot tears still pouring down my face. At that very moment...I wanted to die. I wanted to kill myself. I wanted to crash the car.
"YOU'RE THE GIRL I SAW AT THE TRAINSTOP LAST THREE YEARS AGO!"
"You're really crazy"
"Crazy...'bout you"
"Now tell me how miserable my life is? Who would want to marry a miserable and desperate woman like me?"
