"Cam, go to sleep,"

Evie told Chad that since Cameron was young, he should put her down for naps.

It was way easier said than done.
Cameron pouted and crossed her arms. "No,"

Chad rubbed his face in annoyance.

"Come on, just for a little bit?,"

Her pout never left her lips. "No!,"

Chad sighed and decided to try a different approach.

"Why not?,"

He saw her hesitate and she looked down. "I... I miss my mama," She sniffled.

Oh, right.

Chad pulled her into his lap, kissing her forehead as she started to cry.

"If you go to sleep for me, we can go and see your mama tomorrow. Deal?,"

She stuck her thumb in her mouth and nodded, her free hand gripping his shirt.

"Ok,"

Chad was hoping she would be changed back before her parents found out. Not that he was scared of them or anything, they're good people. It's just....

Her dad's a fucking pyromaniac.

Vinny could blow him up hmif he wanted him too.

Chad looked down at Cameron, watching as she deifyed further into sleep, tear tracks on her cheeks.

He sighed.

Guess he'll just have to risk it.
