It's nearing farewell season and the school always has a huge dance for the eighth graders where you wear a fancy dress and go with a date. The problem is my boyfriend Jack hasn't asked me yet and I'm not sure if he's going to. I sure hope he doesn't just assume we're going together. My phone goes off, so I'm assuming it's Jack.

What color are you wearing to the dance? My mom thinks we should match

The next day at school
I haven't seen Jack yet today and I'm kinda worried I made him mad and he's gonna get mad and not talk.
"Grace y/l/n, would you please report to the gym"
The loud speakers spoke. Oh gosh what did I do now?
I go to the gym and there are tons and I mean tons of solo cups set up all around the gym.
What is happening here?
Soon Jack comes walking out of the locker room holding a sign that says
"Don't let me go solo.... farewell?"
He's so adorable
"Of course, and to answer your question I'm wearing a *insert color here* dress."
"Perfect"
He said then pulled me into a hug.
