Hayley's pov

It was close to eleven at night when there was a knock on my apartment door. I was slightly worried because I wasn't excepting anyone. Besides no one really came here to see me. I abandoned my spot on the couch to see who was at the door.

My eyes widen in shock to see Spencer standing there. He looked exhausted and had a duffle bag slung over his shoulder. "Spencer what are you doing here?" He was about to say something but instead he yawned. I couldn't help but laugh. "Do you want to come in?" He nodded and walked into my apartment.

"You weren't returning any of my texts and I really want to make the date up to you. So I thought I'd stop by after we got back from Texas and talk to you." He set his duffle bag down by the door and followed me into the living room. We both sat down on the couch to talk. "Spencer you could have come by tomorrow you have to be tried I mean you just had a flight from Texas."

Spencer just shock his head. "No I needed to talk to-" he was cut off by another yawn. God he was so cute when he yawned. "But you're clearly tired and now your going to have to drive back to your place. Maybe I should drive you." Spencer nicely declined. "No I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me Hayley. I've been through worse."

"Can I at least make you some coffee so you don't fall asleep driving?" Spencer nodded. "Alright I'll be right back." I got up from the couch and headed to the kitchen. "Do you want cream and sugar?" There was no response. "Spencer." I call walking back to the living room. Spencer had fallen asleep on the couch.

I couldn't help but smile at how cute he looked. I thought about waking him but decided against it. He needed the rest. I turned out the living room light so he could sleep. I kinda felt bad that he had to sleep on the couch but I didn't have the heart to wake him up.

I woke up around nine the next morning and decided to make a nice breakfast if Spencer was still here. To my luck he was still fast asleep on the couch. Hopefully he like pancakes and bacon. I started a fresh pot of coffee and then got to work on the food.

Just as I had finished the pancakes Spencer walked into the kitchen. He was rubbing his eyes trying to wake up. I placed the two plates on the island in the middle of the kitchen and then added the cups of coffee. "I felt bad that you slept on the couch so I made breakfast. I also figured you would be hungry."

Spencer smiled. "Thank you Hayley but you really didn't have to go through all this trouble for me." He took a seat in front of one of the plates. I sat down across from him. "It really wasn't any trouble. Oh I forgot to grab the syrup." I stood back up and grabbed it from the refrigerator.

"Here." I said as I take my seat. He smiled and grabbed the syrup from the table. "Thank you so much Hayley." I couldn't help but smile. Something about sitting down with Spencer and having breakfast was nice. I really didn't want it to end. Sadly after he finished eating he had to go.
