I couldn't help but watch as Grace left me standing at the bottom of the stairs. I had messed up with her again and I knew she wouldn't talk to me for a while.

"Caden?" Zander asks slowly and I sigh, running my hands through my hair.

"She hates me." I groan out, wanting to cry or punch something. Or both.

"She doesn't hate you man. She just needs some time to fume. You did ignore her on her most stressful day so far." He reasons as I go back to pacing the marble stone floor. Today I was supposed to have greeted her and taken her on a tour of the pack but instead she wanted to avoid me. I should have been more considerate. All my life I've been training to be king and I guess I forgot that she was used to only being a beta. She was more comfortable with defenses and strategy, not ruling a pack and taking care of laws and regulations.

"Think she'll forgive me?" I ask and Zander smiles, slapping me on the back before leaving his hand on my shoulder to keep me from moving.

"She loves you. If she didn't she wouldn't have agreed to marry you." He says wistfully and I couldn't help but feel relieved.

"But have you told her about Audry?" That had my nerves going hay wire. Audry was the she wolf that was one hundred percent certain I would have chosen as my mate. She even started acting as if she was the Luna. But Grace was my one and only love and I knew that with those two living in the same pack shit was going to happen.

"I'll take that as a no. Caden you need to tell her and soon." Zander adds before leaving me to stand alone in the hall way.

There was only one place that Grace would be right now and that's where I was headed. I wasn't going to let my Queen go with out a fight. My legs carry me up the winding stair case to the second floor where I passed rows upon rows of doors until I reached the last one at the end of the hall way.

The intricate design on the cherry wood double doors were slightly ajar and I could hear the laughter from Karina and Grace floating through the crack. It had been days since I've seen my mate laughing like that and I couldn't help but stop and admire my Lady Silver.

"I know you're there Caden so just come in." Her voice snaps me out of my tance and I couldn't help but blush as I push open the doors and walk straight to my mate. Scooping her into my arms and carrying her away.

"Where are you taking my sister?" Karina protests and I just grin.

"To show her how much I love her and that there is only one Queen for me." I reply with, feeling Grace hide her face in my chest from what I could only assume is a vibrant blush before I hear Karina's laughter follow us.

My feet continued their way towards the stair case once more where I carried Grace up to the very top floor, guards stationed at the bottom of the steps on the fourth floor. Only Grace, my self and close family and friends were allowed up on the fifth floor.

"Caden put me down." She finally states as Grace begins to the struggle free from my grasp.

"No. I know you're mad at me and I intend to make up for it. If after everything is said and done that you want to chain me to the dog house then I'll happily shift and stay there for as long as you like." I state proudly, keep a hold of Grace as I quickly manoeuvre a door open before stepping inside and shutting said door, making sure the lock was in place before I continued my march towards the king size bed that sat in the middle of the room and laying Grace in the middle of it.

"I was an idiot for forgetting about you. I left my phone on silent and I was supposed to let this day be about welcoming the new Queen, my Queen. I'm sorry Grace and I know you're mad but I'll make it up to you. Tomorrow I'll take you around the pack and you can meet everyone." I start off with, planting light kisses all over her face, neck, shoulders and collar bone.

"Promise?" She asks as she takes my face between her hands.

"I promise. No one and nothing is more important then you." I smile down at her and turn my face to plant a kiss on her palm.

"Then I for give you." She states and I couldn't help but shower her with kisses as I kissed what ever exposed skin I could, eliciting giggles from her sweet lips as she squirms under neath me.

But I knew I had to ruin this moment. I had to tell her about my stalker and that there might be other girls looking to steal the spot from her in a challenge. But I knew for a fact my Grace would win. She was strong. Stronger then any she wolf I ever met and I was proud to call her my love.

"What's wrong?" Her voice fills with worry and I knew my posture gave my souring mood away as I burry my face into the crook of her neck.

"There's something I need to tell you and you might want to sit up. Hell I think I should back away from you before I say it." I state with a heavy sigh before pushing off of her, my hands gently trailing in her hair.

It was now or never.
