We all know that Kim Namjoon is a former trainee of BigHit ever since the first and old BTS. He came from Ilsan and gambled his studies for his dream to be a rapper. He is the great leader of BTS and the King that armys loved.

But how much do you really know about him?

Did you know? In 2013, BTS almost disband because of the lack of budget Bighit and BTS are suffering, but Kim Namjoon choose to convince their producers that they can make it and they will make it. He stood out for BTS.

When they're still rookies, a lot of arrogant fandoms and fans calling them dirt of kpop, arrogant rookies, etc. BTS suffered from that, mostly Kim Namjoon for feeling that he was failing to be a great leader for his team.

I still remember how BTS attended Big Bang's concert and they were only sitting on of one of the upper boxes because they can't afford the VIP seats, they've watched from afar and that time Yoongi asked him if they could make it... Singing and having a concert in a big dome. Namjoon smiled at him and told him they can. He told him that they can because "team work makes the dream work"

Namjoon is so underrated by the fans. When he's actually the reason why BTS exist... Remember, Bang-pd made him choose if he wanted to be part of BTS or to be a solo artist, and he did not hesitate to answer ''BTS'' that's because he really wanted to be in a group, BTS was actually been around at the year 2010 but debuted in 2013, because the original members we're leaving and only Namjoon stayed and waited for the new members, he also said that the most hurtful thing that was ever said to him was to "leave BTS". Some fans never real appreciated how he was the one who writes and compose most of BTS songs.

At one fansign event, there was this time when A fan said she got his photo card and Namjoon apologized for it. He felt like shit, like he wasn't supposed to be a part of BTS when in fact, he's also the reason why Jungkook chose BigHit because he saw Namjoon rapping and thought that he was cool.

Namjoon isn't only a good hyung/dongsaeng and a determined person, he also has softness within him. Did you know that there was a time in a fan meeting when a fan was facing him and all shy, but he choose to be polite and talked to the fan which made her comfortable. He told the fan, ''practice with me so you won't get nervous in front of your bias'' it was one of the sweetest thing. There was also this one fan who didn't want to hold hands with him because she's afraid that he might get her infections. The fan's hand has infectious diseases that time, but Namjoon settled that aside and still held her hands. He was never a vain person.

Did you know that his mother once broke his microphone and computer just so he can't produce music and focus on his studies. He even experience being bashed, fans telling him to "leave bangtan" or "bts doesn't need him" yet he stayed. He stayed strong... And despite of having to read some International hateful comments they receive from netizens, he choose not to tell the translation of those harsh English words he read and would lie to his members about the translation saying that its a complement. He carried all the hurtful and painful words just to make his members not bothered about it.

He may be funny and strong... He may be playful, but that doesn't mean he don't feel sad or affected. Namjoon is the most emotional member yet some fans was throwing hates to him. Being judge by his looks and his dance. He have been always thinking of how the fans would like the music he will make or would they love it or what would they think about it. He's working hard for us to like his music as he have mentioned in BTS Bon Voyage season 2 while he was talking to J-Hope. And even J-Hope admired how a great of a person he is. That despite of some fans wanting him to leave bts, he stayed and made more music for them to like more bts... He wasn't the person who only works for himself, but the person who'd like to walk on a path of success along with his team.

That even when he got injured last wings tour 2017, he stood in front of the AMRYs. He did not think twice of arriving at the concert hall because he knows how much the armys waited for them. And he doesn't want armys unsatisfied with the performance they'll show. That bts should be complete during concerts despite of. Because that's how much he cared for us.

And now for his 23rd/24rd birthday, let's show him how much he mean to the group and how much loved he is. Let's show him how much we supported and care for him. How much Greta of a person he is. That Kim Namjoon of BTS is ARMYs king and will forever be a legend to all of us.

Let's help them all, love them without leaving any member behind. Let's make their peek of success into a tons of joy and awards that they deserve... That Namjoon deserves as BTS' great leader.
