"Thanks?" Ellie says.
"You're welcome! I'm just describing what I see!" Nick says as he laughs it off, a tint of pink covers his cheeks.
"So are you the 'She's a lovely and beautiful young girl, you have to meet her! I can't believe she was outside in the cold! She's beyond beautiful!' Girl my Granz was talking about? The ' beyond beautiful girl'." Nick air quotes.
This time Ellie can feel her skin heating up as she looks down at her feet.
"Are you the 'Good boy' Mrs Mayers was talking about?" Ellie teases.
"Hmm. I guess so, you can take me in as other stuff as-well. Like you know, hot, sexy, charming and beyond gorgeous. That's me!"
"Yeah...no. Anyways, I have to go." Ellie says as she pushes past him, but before she can go, Nick takes ahold of her wrist.
