Trailer made by onegoodauthor thank you, I love it so much!
Also, I am kinda proud of this chapter as-well, however, I can't wait for the next chapter! We have two chapters left, oh my god.
Enjoy!
"You know tomatoes are fruits." Nick says as he sucks on the blue ice block he's holding in his hands as he looks out at the view of the beach.
We're sitting on top of a cliff, there's a beach below us and the sun is rising since it's early
in the morning. The air is cold and I can't feel my nose since it's numb and probably a deep pink as well as my cheeks since I'm freezing. But I really really love the cold, I don't know why but I just really do.Also, we're having ice blocks from Nick's refrigerator because I suggested it.
"Wow Einstein alert. Wee oo wee oo." I say, making an ambulance noise as he chuckles at me. His cheeks are red and his eyes are a golden colour because of the suns reflection on them. He stops laughing as he looks at me, staring deep into my eyes.
I notice his stare as I slightly nudge him on the side.
"Stop staring at me like that you weirdo." I giggle as I look back at the view, breathing out and just admiring the sunrise.
"You know, if I went somewhere far, far away, what would you do?" I question, looking back at him as our eyes meet.
"Why would you go somewhere far away?" He asks, his eyebrows furrowing together.
"No, I'm just saying, like what would you do if I went somewhere where you could never meet me again."
"Like Switzerland?"
I laugh at his response as he looks at me, a confused expression plastered across his face, "What? Why are you laughing?"
God he looks so innocent.
I continue laughing as he shakes me, his hands on my shoulders, "Ellie" he says stretching my name, "Tell me, why are you laughing? Did I say something funny? Huh? Huh?"
"Okay sure, Switzerland. If I went there and never came back what would you do?"
"Well that's quite easy." He says looking back out at the view. "Easy?" I question, lifting my right eyebrow.
"Yeah easy, I'll follow you to wherever you go." He says as a smile takes over his face.
"No dummy, like what if you weren't allowed to see me. Ever. Would you be sad or happy or what?" I say, rolling my eyes, the corner of my lips lift up as I take a look at him, waiting patiently for his reply.
He taps his chin and looks deeply in thought and then proceeds to say, "Well, as long as I know you're okay and you're doing well, then I'm fine with that, I guess."
"You guess?"
"Yeah I mean, I'll want to be near you all the time and follow you wherever I go but if I were to never see you again I'll wish the best for you and then sit at home and quit school and buy like a hundred cats and live with them by some lake or something you know?" He says as my shoulders start to shake with laughter.
"You'll want to live with cats your whole life? You're funny, besides we barely know each other well." I say to which he furrows his eyebrows to.
He takes a look at me, swallows hard and then smiles.
"I'm actually not joking, I don't think I'll ever be able to function without you. I know we've know each other for a couple of months, two and a half to be exact..according to the time you think you've known me, but that doesn't stop me from loving you." His voice is deep and his stare is too, I'm surprised because it's obvious he's not even joking.
