Today is gonna be a great day because Janelle and I are gonna be making our dance. If we finish early we get to shoot. Well at least that's what she told me. Oh and also this big event called BABE17 will be soon at the school and a bunch of dancers from all around the world will be coming. It's in about 3 months.
But anyway as I finished get dressed into my black sports bra and black leggings. I head to the kitchen and see Sean and the boys doing homework at the counter table. Sean looks up at me then back down at his work
"Where are you going?" He asks
"Oh I'm gonna meet up with Janelle to work on a dance" I say grabbing a water bottle from the fridge.
"Cool" he says not paying attention. I then go to them and look at what there doing. It seems like there taking notes for science.
"Taking notes I see" I say taking one of Josh's papers. He takes it from me and writes something on it
"Maya as much as I love you being around. We're kinda busy right now" he says in the most nicest possible way. I nod and get my huraches. As I put them on Sean looks at me. I look back at him and he winks at me. I smile and look down. This boy I swear
When I'm done I then notice Kenneth at the table with them. Ever since I heard him and Lark doing you know what, I look at him differently. When I look at him I just die wanna die of laughter in his face. As I turn to actually look him, I yell out my laughter and clap my hands.
The boys all turn to look at me and give me a look. As I try to calm down I look at him again and start dieing. I point my finger at him and hold onto the wall for support
"What's the funny May" Kenneth says to me. I hold back a laughter and wipe my tears.
"You. You're the funny" I say and lowly laugh again shaking my head
"Me? What did I do?"
"Nothing. It's what you did" I say and then I look at Sean to see if he understands. He catches on and laughs a bit. The rest of the boys are still confused. I pick up my dance bag and put it over my shoulders. I then walk to Kenneth and pat his shoulder.
"Oh Kenny. I thought you were a holy boy" I say and he gives me a look. He then starts smirking and nodding his head
"I think I know what your talking about" he says. He then leans over to Sean and whispers in his ear. Sean then nods and Kenneth looks at me.
"It's definitely not the first time it happened. Don't be so shocked" he says smiling and gets back to his work. I roll my eyes and grab my phone.
"Bye guys"
"Bye!" They all say and I walk out. I head to the elevator and head down to the studio. As I walk I get a phone call. I look at the caller ID and see it's my mom. I smile and press answer
Phone call
Maya:Hello
Mom:Hi sweetheart
Maya:Hi mom. How you doing?
Mom:I'm doing fine. How are you? How's class?
Maya:I'm good, and classes are so much fine. I'm learning a lot and meeting a bunch of nice people
Mom:That's wonderful. How's Lark? I miss that beam of sunshine. Are you guys having fun being roommates?
She says and I instantly get quiet. She thinks me and Lark are roommates. I know I can trust my mom with anything. So it shouldn't be to bad if I tell her I'm rooming with Sean
Maya:Mom, if I tell you something you have to promise you won't tell dad
Mom:Of course. What is it?
Maya:Me and Lark...aren't sharing a room together....
Mom:Oh. Then who?
Maya:A......boy
I say lightly. The call is quiet but then she talks
Mom:Well I trust that your not doing anything wrong and that your responsible yes?
Maya:Yes mom
Mom:Ok good
Maya:Mom I gotta go. I'll talk to you later ok?
Mom:Ok have fun! I love you
Maya:Love you too
End of Call Convo
That actually went easier then I thought. I know I can always trust my mom with stuff like this. Just praying that my dad doesn't find out.
As I open the door I see Janelle and Will talking and laughing together. There so such a great couple
"Hey guys" I say as I close the door
"Hey Maya. How are you" Will asks as he pulls me into a side hug.
"I'm great. So what type of dance are we doing for the video"
Will and Janelle look at each other and smile. Then Janelle looks at me
"Honey. Change of plans. Me and Will were thinking, we decided that we want you to help us teach a class" She says and my jaw slightly drops. I always wanted to teach a class. Well at least assist it. This is gonna be so much fun
"Oh ok. Great" I say excitedly and they laugh.
"Ok enough chit chat. This is a hip hop piece and we're dancing to Flip mode" he says and they start teaching me it and also letting me add moves in the dance
2hours later
We sit down as we finally finish the choreo. That was so much fun.
"So when are we teaching this dance?"
"Tonight" They both say
"Tonight?!" I exclaimed. Why wasn't I told this earlier
"Because we have a class tonight and we really wanted you to help" Janelle says giving me a hug. I feel so happy that I get to live my dream and dance with the people I love. Also, did I say that out loud? I hope I'm not saying this out loud either
"Ok well we'll see you in 2 hours. Go rest and stuff and be here 10 minuets before class ok?"
I nod then get my stuff. I say my byes and head back to my room. As I walk in, I see the guys are still here but in different outfits and have there dance bags with them. They're all sprawled out in the living room watching Tv. Also Nat, Lexee, Lark, Kaycee, Tati, and Tahani are here.
"Hey guys. I'm back" I say and the girls give me a hug. Then I hug the guys after. Then I realize I don't see Sean.
"Hey guys, where's Sean?" I ask.
"He's in the bathroom" Nat says and I say ok.
I walk over to the bathroom and see the door slightly open. I open it and scream as I face the craziest thing ever. My jaw drops and I cover my mouth with my hand. I then run over to Sean grabbing his face.
