Mackenzie's POV
It's been an hour and Jake's friends haven't got here yet so I had a few drinks but it's now it's 11pm and his friends are still not here! I have a few more drinks,because I have nothing better to do,while Jake is flirting with other girls."I miss Logan so much" I thought to my self "but he kissed Courtney on our anniversary!" I began tearing up just thinking about it. "Hey, you okay ?" Jake asked. I nod my head slowly. "You sure ??" He said, rubbing my arm and giving me goosebumps. I nod again my eyes in the bridge of tears. "Awww, come here" he said pulling me into a hug. I buried my head in his neck, sniffling to stop the tears from coming out. "Hey, it's okay let's go and dance" Jake smiled pulling me on the dance floor. The moment we stepped on it, a slow song started playing and Jake pulled me into his chest. I liked it. The feeling of someone comforting me. We swayed from side to side along with the music. Jake looked down at me, "Your so beautiful Mackenzie". I felt my self blush. "Mack let's leave, the vibe here is dead" I nodded agreeing with him. He grabbed my hand and we both left.

We went back to Jake's hotel room. He went into the shower while I lay down in his bed scrolling through my phone. I came across a picture of me and Logan. Logan was winking at the camera whilst I kissed his cheek. A tear streamed down my face. "Why am I feeling this way about him, I'm wasting my tears on this guy. Just forget about him and let him go" I thought to myself. I heard the shower turn off and Jake walk out in a towel. Damn, he looked good. "Hey, Mack, why are you crying" he asked.
"Its nothing" I said turning away from him. He grabbed my chin between his thumb and index finger, and turned
me to face him "If it about Logan, you do't need him. My brother's a real dîckhead to let a beautiful woman like you go" he said. I smiled sheepishly, and tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear. He looked down at my lips before bringing his to mine...
