The entire week, I'd wondered what to expect when I next saw Allan. If anything would be different after what had happened last week, or we'd go back to our routine at the beach, as if we're pretending being a couple. Harrison Park is so relaxing. A few minutes after I saw him approaching.

“Hey!”

“Hi.” I said.

For a moment, everything was very quiet. No one was passing, no cars driving up the row behind us. As silent as I said, “So?”

Allan looked at me, shifting his phone to the other hand. “What?”

“Why did you asked me out again?” I said. My voice was low, even to my ears.

“Elisse.” He sounded serious.

I looked down at my hands.

“I wanted to be your boyfriend.” He said, no hesitations.

I shook my head. This was what I could do, get into this place where I don't know what's ahead of me, no choice but to go straight. “Hey.” He said.

“Are you kidding? Stop fooling around.”

“I’m serious Elisse."

“You know we just met each other.”

“No.” He said.

I wonder, “Yes we are. We just met each other like a weeks ago, don't you think it's too fast?”

“No.”

“What are you saying, you think you could love me for two days? Think of it Allan.”

“No.” He said.

“You're not thinking!”

“No.”

“Why are you keep on saying 'no'?” I said, loud.

“Because you're wrong!”

Allan and I had a moment of silence, no one talked. What am I doing?

“Do you love me?” He asked.

“Um...”

“I loved you from the very first time. Your eyes, your hair, your lips, everything. I don't know how but I can't help it. If you only knew.” He said.

“I think I love you too.” I said.

“Really?”

“But...”

“No buts!” He said, his voice excited.

“Alright, I am now your girlfriend.” I said. Calm.

“Yes! What's day today?” He asked.

So I answered, "its Sunday.”

“No, the day?”

“It's 31th.”

“Yeah, 31th of March! We're officially in a relationship!”

“Okay.”

“Hey everyone!” He shouted.

“What are you doing?”

“This girl right next to me is now my girlfriend!” He continued.

I groaned. “Are you finish?” I said, flat. “I wanna go home.” My mood suddenly changed because of him.

I walked away.

“Hey, hey! Wait!” He said.

“Don't touch me.”
