Hello...naranasan mo na ba maging sad?

Kasi ako sad kanina.

Dami kasing mamang pulis na nagpunta sa school e. 

And they are all asking about my seatmate, Avery...puro na nga lang si Avery! Avery! Avery! 

Avery is already on my tummy! 

Bakit pa kaya nila hinahanap ang pagkain ko? Do they want to eat Avery too? And...and they're asking too about Jenny's daddy! Bakit kaya nila hinahanap ang mga people na wala na? 

Sabi ni Jenny, she misses her daddy Miggy na...sabi niya mamang pulis din daw ang daddy niya...sabi ko naman, I will ask my friend na mamang pulis din if I know her daddy. Jenny is bad like Avery but Jenny is my seatmate so I'll help her find her daddy para 'di na siya sad like me.

 Pero sabi ko din na if she won't stop crying, I will poke her eyes out with my favorite fork!

I don't like to see kids crying kasi e. Mommy said its not good if I cry. She slaps me every time I cry. So, when I see kids crying...it make me want to slap them too! Slap! Slap! Slap! And then poke their eyes...and their tongue...and their cheeks...and their brains... 

Buti na lang after all those bad policemen left, teacher Miranda asked the class if we could offer a prayer to Avery. I think we need prayers na e, like what Lucy told me. Kasi prayers daw will help us lessen our sadness. So I raised my hands up! Up! Up! And waved it too!!!

 I was so excited to share the prayer that Lucy thought me! I hoped that it would make us all feel happy. I hoped that Jenny would stop crying beside me. 

'Lilith, what are you going to pray for us today?' teacher Miranda said. I smiled at my teacher and  looked at the door. Lucy, who came with me today because she was worried about me, smiled too. Sabi niya, idasal ko daw 'yung prayer na tinuro niya sa akin, and so I did! She said tinuro daw 'to sa kaniya ng mga friends ni papa Jesus.

'Vitam aeternam ,' I started to pray but teacher Miranda stopped me and asked me if what was my prayer about. Lucy looked mad when teacher stopped me but when I told naman teacher Miranda that I was praying Ama Namin she beamed at me! 

I smiled wide too and continued to pray because Lucy said so. Lucy said too that I should say it very clearly so Jesus' friend will hear me and I shouldn't stop. Sabi niya kasi, mas magagalit daw ang mga friends ni Jesus kapag hindi ko daw  tinuloy e.  'Carnis resurrectionem,remissionem peccatorum,sanctorum communionem, sanctam Ecclesiam catholicam , Credo in Spiritum Sanctum. inde venturus est iudicare vivos et mortuos, ascendit ad caelos, sedet ad dexteram Dei Patris omnipotentis,  tertia die resurrexit a mortuis, mortuus, et sepultus, descendit ad infernos, passus sub Pontio Pilato, crucifixus, natus ex Maria Virgine, qui conceptus est de Spiritu Sancto, Filium eius unicum, Dominum nostrum, Creatorem caeli et terrae. Et in Iesum Christum...Credo in Deum Patrem omnipotentem,Credo in Deum Patrem omnipotentem...

After my prayer, I felt a wind sooooo cold entered the room! Parang winter! Ang saya-saya! 

Many of Lucy's friend even joined us! I can feel their hugeeeee bloody eyes on me as they chanted my prayers with me over and over! The windows kept on dancing back and forth...back and forth...even after teacher Miranda said thank you and asked me to go back to my seat. 

 And I'm happy too that Jenny already stopped crying when I got back. A friend of Lucy was already sitting beside her. Lahat ng classmates ko nga may new friends na din na katabi! 

'Lucy, why are you happy?' I asked Lucy because she was clapping her hands and laughing so loud, I was worried for a bit that teacher Miranda might hear her. 

'They prayed our prayer, they're forever ours!' she whispered to me. 'Forever ours!'

Ang saya-saya ko sa sinabi niya! 

Alam mo kung bakit? 

Dali, hulaan mo!

Aww...sirit ka  na kaagad?

I'm happy because you read our prayer too, just like the rest of them! I'm so happy for you! You have your silent friend na katulad ni Lucy!

 And he's with you na forever!

You  don't believe me?

Come!Look! Look at your side! Or below your bed! He's there, smiling and waiting! Look! If you don't see your new friend,  wait until it's 3 in the morning, sabi ni Lucy. That's when they're all awake. 

Here, this is Jenny's new friend!
