I have a suicide note beside my bed,
All the words I wrote still in my head.
I didn't sob,
I didn't cry,
While writing about the end of my life.
Harming yourself, completely unnatural
Hurting yourself, like a freak of nature
Because you can not feel, you can not cry
and the pain has to pour out
from somewhere inside.
Jack be nimble,
Jack be quick,
'cause Jills at home
and she doesn't want to live.
Open your soul to all those lies
she whispers to you at dawn's light.
Jills unhappy with her life
Thinks her only friends are pills and a knife.
Jack be nimble,
Jack be quick,
Jack make it through all life's hardships.
Jills in the kitchen,
sipping on wine.
Calls your phone in the dead of night
says shes done with this life
It's too much hurt
and she's lost her pride.
She didn't sob,
She didn't cry,
Bought some pills to help her sleep.
She chokes down hand fulls,
Tries not to weep.
Throw down the phone,
Hurry home.
Jack be nimble,
Jack be quick,
'cause Jills at home
and she doesn't want to live.
Jills the only girl you will ever love,
your names have been written out in the stars above,
Two hearts intertwined.
Dust to Dust
Til the end of time
Jill, don't you know this sorrow can't last?
You have to let go of your troubled past.
Jack knows you have seen some scary things,
but he thinks you are an angel
with broken wings.
Let him help you learn to fly.
Jill, hold on
Please don't die.
Jack fell down and broke his crown
to try and save you're life.
Jack crashes through the door
and holds her like he did before.
Jack was nimble,
Jack was quick,
But Jill's body is still
and her blood is slick.
