In the letter waiting, the correspondent talked about how they felt alone and helpless.
In that moment, Isla wanted to uncover the identity of the person so she could be their friend.
She wanted to assure them that there was in fact, someone out there, who would be there for them.
They spoke of how their best friend betrayed them and how they wanted to desperately patch things up.
Although, other circumstances prevented them from doing so.
Isla thought on the subject before dishing out some unhelpful but supportive advice.
She encouraged the person to be brave, to be strong and to patch things up with their friend.
She assumed the incident couldn't have been that bad.
Once the letter was finished, she folded the paper and placed it in the tree.
