Isla and Claire walked into their school with a strong front.
People looked and laughed, but they stood strong.
Instead of cowering away, they walked through the hallways proud and in control.
They found Duncan standing the courtyard laughing with his friends.
His laugh used to make Isla smile but now she wanted to punch him in the face.
When he saw them, his laughed dropped.
'Hi, Duncan.' They waved.
'Claire, what are you doing with Isla?'
'We know what you did!'
'Baby, don't listen to her.'
Isla looked at Claire and saw the rage about to explode.
Before she had time to react, Claire lunged at Duncan and thumped her fist into his eye socket.
'You're a -' She stopped speaking. 'You're not worth of it.'
Claire grabbed Isla's hand and dragged her away.
Claire looked at Isla and then apologised for what she was going to do next.
