"You did what?" Melanie asked.
"Mel, it worked," Astrid replied.
"You do know that man, beast, thing can't be trusted."
"Who did, dad?"
"Astrid, this is serious. Wait, how did you fall for Dagur the Deranged?"
"I don't know. We bumped into each other and got to know each other when I took the scenic route back to the village."
"Oh."
"Now as for you falling for a Jorgensen. How in Thor's name did that happen?"
"Cameron's different than the ones that attack the island. He lives on Crescent Island with his mum who isn't a Jorgensen herself."
"Okay then miss specific."
The girls burst out laughing.
